Drove 30 miles to meet my sister for tea on Saturday. Totally worth the drive. Everything: Service, tea, atmoshpere, food were EXCELLENT. Variety of Hot & Cold ice teas which were wonderful. The staff was efficient & very friendly. We didn't care for the Tomato Soup, but all other food was delicious. I really enjoyed that they did not make us feel rushed, very relaxing. I have been to many, many tearooms and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this one.

Loved this place. The room is warm and creative. The food was very good; good selection. Excellant scones. Service is very good, much attention to your needs. The tea is exceptional, they serve some of their own blends. Highly recommended!

Must say that my experience was great! The food along with the service was wonderful. The decor is your typical victorian one. It could use a little more charisma but our overall experience was a memorable one. And yes, you will walk out of there full!

Everything was great AFTER we were moved to a nicer location. We were first seated in a teeny tiny room where the back of my chair bumped up against another customer's chair and my daughter's seat directly faced the wall which seemed to be only 18' or so away from her face!

We had my daughter's 7th birthday party here for 10 little girls, and it was nothing short of fabulous. The party was held on the covered patio, which is beautiful with painted murals on the walls, a koi pond, and strings of decorative lights. The service was excellent, and the girls loved being treated like princesses for the afternoon. The menu was catered toward children and presented beautifully. Ice cream sundaes prepared to each girl's liking topped off the afternoon perfectly!

Wow! We three - mother and two grandmothers - accompanied our little 4 year old prince to this charming victorian tea parlor. We were presented with a nice selection of fruit and black teas, even peach decaf! The special Mother's Day menu began with a vinegarette spinach salad, a lucious carrot/apple soup, and cool sorbet! Yum! The tasty finger sandwiches included piped salmon, a flaky miniquiche, and a moist, cheesy strata. The chocolate layer cake and tangerine spongecake with ice cream were thankfully petite as we wanted to enjoy the whole teaful experience. By far, our favorite were the citrus laced scones - soft, warm and flaky! We admired the angels and lace, pretty teapots and cups, and our prince couldn't stay away from the darling koi pond on the patio. Fabulous service in a pleasant atmosphere made this a memorable break from our busy lives. We recommend it heartily. (Please note the topiary in the picture is a giant teapot hanging over a huge mosaic teacup and saucer!) Can't wait to return!

My sister's baby shower was held in the conservatory. All in attendance absolutely loved the tea house. The decor was lovely and very relaxing. The service was wonderful. The selection of teas was superb and the food was quite tasty. We were all in agreement that Two a Tea provided us a few hours of peace and tranquilty from our busy lives.

the deocr is lovely but that is about the only lovely thing about this tearoom. the food is dissatisfying with scanty portions and expensive prices. tea is not great; neeed a greater variety. The service ws not professional at all and quite rude.

Tearoom Response
First let me thank you for your review. We appreciate constructive criticism. We sincerely apologize if you felt the service was anything less than wonderful, and we are sorry that you did not enjoy your tea. In response to your comment that we needed a greater variety of teas, I have to say that I disagree. Our menu currently offers 33 different flavors of tea including black teas, herbal teas, and green teas. Most people find it difficult to choose just one. With regard to our prices, I'm sure you've noticed in your local supermarket how food prices have risen. The same applies to our food costs. I hope that you will compare our prices with other tearooms and find, like we have, that they are competetive. We hope that you will give us another try, and let us serve you again. God Bless.

Me and 3 friends went today and it was absolutely wondeful! I have been to some of the other ranked tes parlors on the teamap and this actually should be #4 or even #3. The ambience is delightful and different, the food is plentiful and DELICIOUS! I had the Coconut Vanilla Tea and it was very nice and the butterscotch, golden raisin, coconut scone was TO DIE FOR, really good and I have had many a scone. Our server was very kind and helpful. I would definetly recommend Two A Tea and will for sure be coming back. Thanks so much!

I recently co-hosted a baby shower at this adorable tearoom and the service was exceptional. We were given our own 'hostess' who kept our teacups full for the entire party. The fact that we had our own private room was a wonderful touch. The sandwiches were delicious and the chocolate mousse dessert was amazing!!!! I will definately be returning to this darling tearoom.

This has been my third time to this very beautiful Tea House. Every time I enter, I realize how much love and passion goes into every detail. The decor is in such good taste and the food is very good. I like to try many teas and I am always invited to try them. This time I enjoyed the Raspberry Vanilla Almond and the Passion Coconut. Great Tea...Great Place...

Last night my husband and I went to 'Two A Tea' for a special Valentines Dinner. It was called 'A Night in Paris' French food that was delicious and Savory. I have been to many expensive French resturants, in California and in France, and I would say 'Two A Tea' could hold their own with the best of them. The Servers were busy, but not snootie , as in many places you feel like a chore for them. They tried to make it a super night and they succedded..... Dressed nicely in the spirit of the night. The owner was very pleasant and friendly and was happy to serve her patrons with smiles and a special time for each table. To Bring all the food out to each table at the same time must have been difficult. The Bouillabaisse (sp) was out of this world. Loaded with large shrimp, crab, sca... (more)

There were many teas to choose from; I tried a couple of them and they were all delicious. My favorite tea was definitely the coconut vanilla.

The food was fresh and appetizing. I recommend tasting everything on the menu. The salad had the best homemade feta dressing. The variety and quality of the sandwiches were delightful. The homemade scones were some of the best I've tried.

The artistic preparation and presentation of each course was done with care. You can definitely see the love and effort put into preparing the food.

Service at Two a Tea is exquisite. The staff is so friendly and personable. They definitely make you feel welcome and make sure you are satisfied with everything. This creates an energy and atmosphere that makes your meal very enjoyable.

I will definitely be back and recommend Two a Tea to my all family and friends.

The waitress was so rude we decided to leave and go elsewhere. The owner and the waitress insisted that we order more food than what we wanted. She said after Christmas business had been slow...sorry but that is not my fault maybe if they were polite and respectful to their customers business wouldn’t be as slow. My friends and I frequent tea houses as our little get away and time alons and this one has been the worst one. I do not recommend this place and will not be going back!!

I have visited Two A Tea four times in the past 16 months. Each time I have brought someone new. Everyone has enjoyed the ambiance, food and friendly staff. The patio is so pleasant in the Spring and Summer months. The owner, Marianne painted the mural on the patio wall, in addition to all of the beautiful interior decor of the tearoom. This tearoom is just what the Old Town Glendora area needed. I am glad Marianne pursued her vision and made it reality for all of us to enjoy. I look forward to my next visit.

Average. The rooms were extremely jammed with tables and customers. Made the atmosphere noisy. Our neighbors could certainly have jumped into our conversation at any time. The food was disappointing. The sandwiches were nearly bread only. I didn't expect to leave feeling stuffed but I did leave feeling hungry. The one highlight was that our server was lovely though we didn't see much of her.

My daughter, while still a student at Azusa Pacific University (graduate of 2006), told me about this ‘cute little teahouse’ while living in Azusa. She had bugged me about taking her there, but we never did while she was at APU, since her school and work schedule made it near impossible.

Then, last year, I gave homemade tea invitations to my best friend, her mother, and her mother-in-law for their birthdays, with the plan to take all three of them at the same time. Sort of a ‘girl’s day out’. I had Two a Tea in mind, but scheduling it was difficult and so we kept putting it off.

Well, January 2, 2008, we finally found the time and I decided to take my daughter, too. What a great way to start the new year! And, where Two a Tea ranks as number 7 in all of Californi... (more)

I have been to this tea house twice now. The first time they sat my friends and I at a table in the baywindow area where the curtain was constantly in my face. When I asked if we could change tables, as there was no one else there at the time, the waitress told me they never had that problem before, nobody had ever come that was as big as me (thank you very much). They finally changed our table. Service was slow and food was passable. Presentation was only OK. I've seen better. The second time my friend and I went for tea they had no record of the reservation I made the week prior. They sat us in the 'library' in a corner where my friend's chair interlocked with a chair from a table next to ours because they were sooooo close. Our service was terrible and the food only passable. I have given them two tries. I won't be back for a third time.

We are truly stunned to see anything other than rhapsodiszng in reference to this utterly charming tea room! We make the trip from Orange County just to enjoy their fabulous scones and decor,(which at CHRISTmastime is just as much a treat as the delicacies served!) We have only ever been to this dear little spot, when it was filled to the brim with happy tea-goers, which we can only assume, is an obvious sign that there are many who
agree with us... this is an experience that cannot be missed. As for the servers being properly attired to serve high tea?...since we are not in England and the queen is nowhere in sight, we think these wonderfully sweet and attentive servers always treat us like royalty and they fit this darling American shop, 'two a tea'. It is Fabulous!

I went to tea by myself one day at Two A Tea, and really enjoyed the food, from the scone to the dessert, and the service. So much so that I made reservations to bring the women in my family for a Christmas Tea. My expectations were very high as we got there but I must say that I was somewhat disappointed with the experience. First of all, there were 12 of us and we were seated in the area by the main hallway. We did have privacy but it was so tight and I couldn't even see my nieces who were seated by the window and the 'cooler' that stored food and vegetables. The scones were great, but did the clotted cream have cream cheese in it? I've never had that before. The tea sandwiches were not very tasty, in fact, the pimiento and cucumber sandwich were bland. The desserts were very good, though. And our server was really pleasant and attentive. She made the experience a good one for me. I hope that was a fluke and maybe I'll try to go there again one day.

I just made a huge blunder in my rating of a tearoom just now. It is not Two for Tea that I had been to today and all the other visits but Two A Tea in Glendora. See I'm so relaxed and calm after such a wonderful tea party that I can't even think straight. Two A Tea is a wonderful tearoom, excellent food and great service. Thank you again for a another beautiful experience.

I have visited this particular tearoom several times now and have never been disappointed. Each time has been a wonderful experience. The food is truly excellent, the staff warm, caring and very attentive. There is a very peaceful and calm atmosphere which soothes the soul. Today I attended a surprise party for a dear friend. With a room full of chatty women, our servers were incredibly calm and attentive to our group. Just a wonderful day. Thank you Tea for Two for a beautiful day.

Although this place receives good reviews, I suspect the owner or 'pastery chef' has a hand in doing away with the unpleassant or poor reveiws. My guest and I attended a party here recently, and were astonished to find the utter lack of quality and friendliness that Two a Tea is supposedly known for! Our party was stuffed in amongst other guests in the biggest room of this place, and our server seemed like she was high on something as she couldn't remember half the things we asked for, such as water or more sream for our scones in addition to wearing absolutely inappropriate clothing to serve high tea in!! Once the food FINALLymade its way out it too was less than stellar. Even though our host had ordered in advance, the wait time from tea arrival to food arrival was literally an hour. The... (more)

Dear Rachel; I don't know where to begin other than to say I am sorry. There is no excuse for poor service. We are not in any way able to remove any review. I would like to know what day your reservations were for so I could go back into the book and make some sense of it all. I personally work very hard on our menu and always am asking for feedback. I am now even making my own bread. As for clothing I will address that with my staff. Please give two a new another chance and I ask if you would introduce your self to me the next time you come in so that I may serve you personally. with sincerest warmth. Marianne

On Saturday 11-03-07 was the second time I visit the tea house. My daughter wanted to have her birthday party there with her best friend, cousin and grandma. We all had a wonderful time. The lady who served us was very nice and made my daughter feel special. Her friend, grandma, and cousin felt special that my daughter invited them to such wonderful place. The food was excellent so were the teas.I bought my daughter her first tea pot there. My daughter and her friend, cousin, and grandma made a promise to each other to start collecting tea pots and have tea parties at grandmas house. And of course visit Two A Tea often :).

I visited Two A Tea today for the first time. It was wonderful! The ambiance was very pleasant, the service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered “The Royal High Tea” with raspberry herbal tea. The tea had an excellent flavor—delicate, but not weak, and flavorful enough that I didn’t feel the need to add any sweetener. The scones today were blueberry, and they were soft and light. They were fresh out of the oven and fabulous, especially with the lemon curd, clotted cream, and berry preserves. The soup (chicken, wild rice, and portabella mushroom) was superb, as was the salad with feta dressing. The sandwiches were all very good, and the dessert (pumpkin gingerbread with caramel and apple compote) was simply delicious. I would love to return to this tea house, and I would definitely recommend it to friends.
