Food: We attended a small gathering at uniquely Yours for my grandmother's 80th birthday. My opinion couldn't be higher of this place, the quaint atmosphere and the friendly service. It was a very special occasion and I know Grandma was tickled with the time she had with her special friends/family. The food was excellent, delicious and perfect for the occasion! I have had one other Tea Room experience, and I have to admit, it absolutely left something to be desired (and walking away starving afterward), which happened to leave me a little on edge about going for tea...but I must say I am no longer tainted by tea rooms and from here on out, Uniquely Yours will most definitely be the suggested Tea Room that I send people to! Food: My daughter and I attended her friend's 7th birthday party at the Uniquely Yours Tea Room. What a wonderful party idea! The girls (and the Mom's) had a delightful time! The girls got a chance to dress up and enjoy activities with a beautiful princess! The tea room is just gorgeous and everything was planned out with perfection. Food: This was our first visit to Uniquely Yours and it won't be our last. My daughter and best friend and I had a wonderful time. The tea selection was wonderful, the Tea Room was beautifully done in the Victorian Period and our Hostess had the perfect personality and gift of gab. Everything from the ambience, to the hats, to the food and the tea was absolutely perfect. Her tea tastes amazing as iced tea too. If you are planning a bridal shower this is the perfect place. Food: I just spent a wonderful afternoon, with 9 other women, celbrating my mother-in-law's 75th birthday. It was the perfect place for us to chat, laugh, reminise, and relax. We had so much fun with wearing hats, taking pictures and last but not least enjoying the WONDERFUL tea, food and friendly and efficient service. I felt like I had stepped back into another era and took my family and friends with me. A tearoom that is not to be missed. PS. Food: This was my second visit to Harriet's wonderful tea room on Millers Run Rd. My sisters and I were there for a 'sister's' day and Harriet made it a special occasion. The food was excellent (we LOVE her egg salad and the pickle sandwiches) and and abundant. The tea was served hot and delicious. Food: I am from New Zealand and visiting friends in Wexford Pa. I feel so lucky to come across this enchanting tea room. It is so unique. We got to try several teas and my favorite was the strawberry Boysenberry. I am a traveler and I can honestly say that the chocolate cinnamon scones are to die for! My friends and I were able to take pictures of ourselves wearing the different hats and boas. We created some wonderful memories at Uniquely Yours Tea Room. The atmosphere was so pleasant and Harriet and her staff were very accommodating. My friends and I highly recommend this tea room to everyone who is visiting Pa. I wish I can take the tea room back with me. But Its nice to know I will have a wonderful place to look forward to visiting next time my travels bring me back to Pa. Food: We had a party of 8 people who enjoyed a lovely afternoon. The food was delicious, and Harriet and her staff were delightful to work with. We also had lots of fun shopping and trying on the hats and feather boas. My only suggestion would be that each person could have her own choice of tea rather than just two pots per table. There were quite a few wonderful choices of of loose teas, but I felt limited because we were sharing with others at the table. |

Food: The website does not give this charming tearoom justice. There were several varieties of unusual loose teas to choose from and the food was excellent. We were treated to a tea that actually blossomed after steeping for 5 minutes in a clear teapot. The decor was Victorian with exquisite furniture, clothing and decor from that era. The items for sale were reasonably priced and all very unique. Service was great and the owner quite gracious and very accomodating. We will certainly return to this establishment. |

Food: 'A fest for the eyes' was the general concensus of the girls as we talked about our wonderful afternoon at Uniquely Yours. Harriet and her team went out of their way to please and accommodate our needs--not an easy task for 11 guests. The teas were delicious, and the scones were unusual and scrumptious. Food: We are also disappointed. We could not find the handicape parking, not even one spot!!! In past reviews we now notice that other people have complained about the same issue. The one bathroom on the first floor is also not equiped for the handicape, nor is the one on the second floor, although even if the second floor had one you have to climb steps to get to it, is this even legal!!! Will not be back!!!! |

I am sorry there was no handicap parking. There is sewage construction at that parking spot and it is beyond our control. The hadicapped parking spot will not be available for another week and we share your frustrations. Food: I waited for one hour with no service at all. Shrimp tails on the table from previous diner. Dirty tea cup. Tea sandwiches were excellent. Tea was ice cold. Scones would have been tastier had they been warmed. Dessert left a lot to be desired. Overpriced for the quality provided. It needs to be de-cluttered. It needs a better baker and to find a way to serve tea piping hot. It was clean. Flowers on the cake stands were a little much and felt dirty. They were an unecessary decor. |

Food: We went to Uniquely Yours Tea Room for my daughter's 17th birthday with 4 of her friends. It was a royal/serene experience/atmosphere. There was a welcome sign for Jenna done in beautiful script penmanship. Hats and boas were available for the girls to dress up and have fun in the whole tea experience. The tables were exquisitely decorated in the finest tea china and each table was color coordinated. Food was very delicious. Harriet made it extra special for my daughter. Food: I just tried this place for the first time today with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law as an early mother's day treat to ourselves. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The service was wonderful, the tea divine and the food just fantastic. The house is darling and reminds me of all of my childhood tea fantasies at once. The ladies in attendance were impressed by the charm of the tea house and the friendliness of the staff. Our luncheon was delicious and presented in a very professional manor. Although Janet had been there a few times before, this was my first time and it definitely will not be my last. I enjoyed everything from the initial opening of the front door and walking into a beautiful and serene Victorian setting to the excellent choices of teas and the DELICIOUS sandwiches, scones and desserts which are all homemade by the owner, Harriet. Food: I took my girlfriend, Susan, that I have not seen for 1 1/2 years for tea on 2/21. As soon as we walked into the room, she was delighted with the victorian atmosphere. We selected our tea and were given individual pots. After our scones, sandwiches and pastries arrived, I found out she did not like mayonnaise. Harriet was very accommodating in that she made her a sandwich that Susan could eat. The homemade chocolate scones were out of this world! I ordered additional ones. Food: My friend and I took my 90 year old mother out for high tea. We had a wonderful experience that will be charished by all. It is very handicapped accessible but make sure you tell them you need handicapped parking. I have visited numerous tea rooms around the USA, and this is one of my favorites because it surpasses all my criteria for a great tea room. Here are my metrics: Tea is full-leaf (a MUST) and plentiful. They keep it warm on a little platform with a tealight under it. Nice touch. Food: I have been to so many tea houses all over the United States (everywhere I go I make sure to visit one)...and Uniquely Yours Tea Room is by far the best...so glad it is in the neighborhood so I can go often! Harriet and her staff are very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. We (4) were there on Saturday, Feb. 7, for Mummie's 83rd birthday party. The place is so charming and quaint, it is like stepping back in time. The food is always delicious and served with a smile. We lingered for 3 hours and never felt rushed. I had a surprise bithday party for my mother and there were at least 20 members we invited. My mother loved the tea room she said it reminded her about her tea parties when she was a kid!! The food was wonderful and there set up was amazing. I love how the decorations turned out as well as Harriets patients. I am an indecisive person and Harriet was able to help me out on where I should put what as far as decorations. Food: I had an amazing baby shower at Uniquely Yours Tea Room. The shower was on a Sunday in October. My Mom and sister hosted it for me. I arrived early with them so that they could set up. Harriet and her staff were there to greet them and guide them as to the most suitable spots for the cake and presents. We were served everything that we had agreed upon and that my Mom had secured with the down payment. We had a party of about twenty people. We were served tea as we played the games. During our lunch, we served another tea or some guests chose to stay with the original flavor of tea. The food was excellent and there was plenty for all. The oreo truffles were out of this world! Food: We celebrated my niece's recent marriage with a mini-shower at Uniquely Yours Tea Room. She was absolutely delighted, as was everyone there. You immediately feel special and pampered from the minute you walk in. The decor, the excellent, unique tea choices, the delicious food and the attentive, friendly service made our afternoon perfect. |

Food: I recently had a bridal shower, the owner had forgot about the reservation, we had to wait 1/2hr for the tea, I was originally told that 2 different teas would be offered at each table, it did not happen we did not get to choose, and I was not told to bother with games because the choosing and serving of tea would take up time, it did not. We sat at a table of 6 and only had one plate of tea sandwich's which was not enough for as many ppl were at our table, the other tables had 2 or 4 ppl. We asked for more but was ignored by the waitress. We only had one pot of tea at our table which with 6 ppl we should of had 2. EJF,I am very sorry your bridal shower did not turn out the way you hoped. But we did not forget about your shower. According to my records your reservations were not confirmed with your down payment AS REQUIRED. There was only a call requesting information on the availability of that date. Calling and asking questions do not confirm a date or reservation. All showers and special evens are confirmed with a down payment. We did not receive your down payment or your specific requirements for your shower which would have been obtained at that time. Therefore we thought you were no longer interested in booking your shower with us. We did however make every effort to accommodate you even though we were booked for that day. My waitress is a very detailed person and I remember her bringing take out boxes for your group. You were asked several times if you wanted more tea and everyone seemed satisfied. Since you did not have reservations the rooms are still open to the public. These are the types of things that happen when confirmation is not made to reserve your special day. Food: There were 8 of us, and to my pleasant surprise, they were able to sit us all at one table. All of the tables in the room were decorated in different colors. It made it look festive. Each one was unique. There were a variety of teas to choose from, and the food was delicious. They were wonderful hosts. They made sure we had enough of tea, and made sure we were taken care of. |

Food: I don't eat flour or sugar - so my food choices were limited... However, it was a wonderful visual feast! Also, there were 5 in our party and we could hear each other. Finally, while there were other parties, it was as though we were in our own private world. It was a fabulous afternoon! |

Food: I visited Uniquely Yours for a baby shower (after living so close by for years and never getting a chance to stop!). I was truly impressed!
