Vianne's Tea Salon & Cafe

I come here because, next to taking a Midrin for a migraine, this place really relaxes me. The tea arrangement is awesome and the owners will only accept nothing but the best for their customers. The food is excellent and the chef, who is one of the owners, only uses the freshest ingredients in his food. In 2009, I celebrated my 30th birthday here and I will nerver forget how much of a treat it was for me as I was treated like a queen! In March I hope to have my daughter's birthday party here because I know this is a place where she will be treated like the princess she is!!!!!

My sister and I so enjoyed our time at Viannes. The food was incredible and the server (Nicole) was extremely attentive to our needs. I read with much concern and distress the review written by Tina. I was witness to the events she describes however, it was not the owner who was being unreasonable rather, the customer who would not allow the owner to refund her overcharge of $1.00. We have since been back to Vianne's several times and can only say that we are so very pleased with not only the food but the kindness of the owners and staff. Sorry Tina!

I went to Viannes with my mom this weekend after reading a review by a local food critic and was very disappointed with the customer service. While the food was acceptable, we were overcharged for the lunch special and when we questioned the bill, we were told that ' it was written on the board wrong'. They proceeded to charge us the higher price! I even spoke with one of the owners and his indifference was shocking. I don't know how any business can afford to treat customers this way and expect to remain in business. We will definitely not be back.

I just flew in from Miami, first time coming to a tearoom. The food was amazing and innovative. The service was without flaw and quick in attending to us. The location is adorable and great. I will surely be returning next time I come to town.

Vianne's is a beautiful resting place in this sweltering weather. The tea was delicious, the servers helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. Will visit again!

Vianne's is one of my favorite aspects of Mandeville and one of the few reasons I leave the southshore these days! My experiences here have ruined me for other coffeeshops, restaurants and cafes... The food is to die for, the service top quality and the teas... Oh god the teas! They really speak for themselves :)

I've been coming to Viannes Tea Salon for many years and am aways treated extremely well every time i've eaten there. I'm absolutely addicted to the Viannes Vivation Iced Tea in paticular.....I have to have it at least three times a week. The food is always spectacular and Michael always takes great care in the way the food is presented as well as the amazing tastes rolling out of the kitchen. The wait staff always treats me like royalty. There is no place in this area like Viannes and I recommend it to everyone! It's also a great dating spot....very intimate setting and quiet atmosphere.

My experience here was a mixed bag: great tea and food but the cleanliness left a bit to be desired. The commode appeared not to have been scrubbed recently (pink ring). Also, there were smudges on the tablecloth from a previous diner, which is excusable since the cloths are linen, but optimally should have been changed before the next guest's arrival. All in all, the experience didn't live up to the expectation.

I brought my 3 older grandchildren, g9, b11, and b13 for the Mad Hatter Tea. They loved it, especially the boys. They loved wearing the hats, learning their manners for a tea, and actually loved the varieties of hot tea!! Thanks to Vianne's for a lovely experience.
