Step back in time with us to yesteryear at Victorene's Tea Room located in a beautifully restored 1860's Victorian farm house just minutes away from the quaint and historic City of Monongahela, Pa. At Victorene's, you will enjoy an opportunity to retreat from the hurried pace of the world and enjoy beautifully prepared foods and fresh brewed loose tea in a gracious setting. Our tea luncheon may include classic literature and poetry, a brief history of the holidays, fun tea-time games and prizes, and lovely classical music. Food: The Covered Bridge tea was both enjoyable and informative. THe Ginger Peach tea was excellent and all of the food was both great tasting and presented beautifully. We travelled for four hours to get to this tea, and it was worth the wait. |

Food: My mother, sister, mother-in-law and I participated in a 'triple chocolate mystery' tea. It was fantastic! It is one of other specialty teas offered throughout the year. We were able to roll-play and get into character, while excaping our every-day woes. We truly enjoyed every second. We were able to mingle with others as well as catch up amongst ourselves. The home is beyond beautiful, the food is delicious and the entertainment is a memory I will cherish. BRAVO!! |
