Step back in time with us to yesteryear at Victorene's Tea Room located in a beautifully restored 1860's Victorian farm house just minutes away from the quaint and historic City of Monongahela, Pa. At Victorene's, you will enjoy an opportunity to retreat from the hurried pace of the world and enjoy beautifully prepared foods and fresh brewed loose tea in a gracious setting. Our tea luncheon may include classic literature and poetry, a brief history of the holidays, fun tea-time games and prizes, and lovely classical music. Food: The house felt familiar since my Grandmother lived on Main Street in Monongahela for many years and I loved visiting her sprawling old Victorian. We were all content and happy with the wonderful hostess, ambience and delicious luncheon. We loved the wrap around porch with its rocking chairs, too. I would recommend this experience to anybody looking for a relaxing, intimate, elegant afternoon with a few good companions. |

Food: I had the great honour to be the first English gentlman to visit this charming tea room and was very pleasantly surprised by the ambience of Victorian England! Chris the hostess is so utterly charming and laid out such a beautiful table and produced the most delicious cakes and sandwicheswhich we all enjoyed so much and is a most memorable experience for me. Food: We had a private party at Vitorenes on friday, April 25th. My sister had a guest from England and only gave Chris one day to prepare the party. The food was excellent and we had an excellent green tea. The atmosphere of the Victorian House is wonderful. We all fell in love with Chris as she was the perfect hostess and you can tell that she enjoys her tea parties. We all had a great time- my sister's friend from England said the 'Victorene's is better than the Tea rooms in England.' We are planing on returning. |

Food: I visited Victorene's for the first time for their Valentines' Day tea. It was fantastic. The beautifully restored Victorian home gave us a glimpse into the past and the food was outstanding. Chris puts her heart and soul into every detail, which made the experience very enjoyable. I will definitely be visiting the tearoom again soon. Food: This was my third tea party and it was most enjoyable. It is nice to just relax in a really friendly atmosphere with good friends and have such a delightful time. From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave you experience a truly uplifting feeling. The place is beautiful, the atmospher is so positive and friendly, and you can tell that much thought was put into the choice of the menu and type of tea served. Everything was delicious and overall I would recommend everyone experience going to a tea party - especially at Victorean's I had a change to speak to the other people at this particular tea and they said they are advid tea goers and they have the best time at Victorean's and that it is starting to be their favorite place to go. |

Food: My daughter Jennifer and I had the most wonderful time at the “Ringing in the New Year Tea” on Sunday. You made us feel so welcome from the moment you so graciously greeted us at the door. Victorene’s is elegant and charming, yet inviting and warm; we fell in love with your home the second we saw it! The menu was incredibly delicious with a perfect variety of foods. Food: My sisters and I have taken each other to Victorene's for each other's 40th birthday celebrations. We LOVE everything about the whole experience. I have introduced other family members and friends to this wonderful authentic tradition as well. Everyone comes away listing all their own friends and relatives to bring with them next time. My daughter has been to two teas (at the ripe old age of six). She loves being a little lady. I like the opportunity to teach her proper manners. I wish Victorene's had been around when I was a little girl. |
