To all those who have visited this place and including EVELYN who might I add has no clue. It is a lovely house, which I leave it at that. This tea room is barely a tea room. The owner is clueless of the proper ways to serve tea and she does not use loose leaf teas. Her food is minimal and might I add quite unappetizing. No one is Jealous of this tea house! Thats for sure. If you haven't already visited here... do not waste your time doing so!

Victorene's is so beautiful in every way. I see there is a negative review here which I find puzzling. It can not be anyone who ever has attended a tea party at Victorene's. I am sure there are jealous people out there who would just leave a bad review to be mean-spirited and I can tell you that has to be what the negative review is all about- I ASSURE YOU! I am a regular at Victorene's and her food is amazing in appearance and taste. There is such a large amount that we normally can not even finish. The atmosphere is the ultimate. You are transported back in time and I instantly feel pampered and relaxed. The owner, Chris, is wonderful. You feel like you have known her your entire life upon meeting her once. If you are looking for the perfect place to have a tea party, this is it!

Victorene's is my happy place! The tearoom is beautiful inside and out. The home has such a happy and loved feeling. My friends and I enjoy it every time we attend. We keep bringing new family & friends with us and can't recommend it enough. Food is superb and the selections the owner chooses are exactly how I would do it if I owned a tearoom! If I could give this tearoom more stars I would! A must try for anyone, there is not a better tearoom in the area. I've had tea in England, and this is better, way better!

Excellent on all points. This tearoom is unique and wonderfully special as it is located in a historic farmhouse. So, for me, the atmosphere was incredible. I loved how the owner, Chris, decorated the home and how she arranges the tables for tea. She has a knack for putting china together with vintage linens. Beautiful. The food was all homemade, generous amount for tea fare, and delish. As with my table, I heard many asking for recipes to the food served. I liked how we sampled two loose leaf teas served with the course of food. Another fun part of tea is the program. I attended St Patrick's Irish Tea and it was so sun to learn about him and also for the guests to participate in a trivia contest. It added to the perfect day! I give this tearoom 4 stars!

Wonderful tearoom, best in town. Everytime I go I spend time talking with Patty and Lynne, they are so warm and friendly. The food is great and the tearoom itself is beyond words. Don't miss this it's and experience you won't forget.

I just made reservations for the St. Patrick's Day Tea on March 17th. As I went last year, I wanted to review this tea room. The Victorian parlor, where my friends and I had tea, was filled with character & beauty. Chris, the owner, is the perfect hostess. The attention to detail on the table decorations, and food preparation truly made it an unforgettable experience for me. I highly reccomend it to anyone looking for a charming place to have lunch.

My husband, best friend, and I were looking for a fun and different experience for a night out. We had heard good things from many about Victorene's and decided to attend the Halloween Ghost Tour & Tea on October 20, 2012. Victorene's is located in a LOVELY area and we really enjoyed our hour drive to the event looking at the BEAUTIFUL countryside and the color of the changing leaves (very relaxing & stress reducing)! Victorene's is located in a gorgeous mid 1800's Victorian farm house which is the owner's residence. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately at our reserved table upon arrival. The home is absolutely LOVELY and decorated BEAUTIFULLY! There were so many GREAT Halloween touches and the other guests there were all so friendly and very nice! The owner and hostess, Ch... (more)

My friends and I just celebrated our annual summer get together at Victorene's Tea. It is the perfect place for our girl's day out. We are never rushed, incredible food and tea, impeccable service. The atmosphere is so relaxing. At the close of our tea, I am given the bill without having to wait for it, and am told to please take my time and enjoy myself! Where else can you go where someone tells you that? I only wish I had more time to visit more often. Our group makes sure we visit yearly and hoping to make that twice a year in 2013. It's nice to know that things at Victorene's are the same...perfect!

I'm not normally a person who would leave a review, but had to give this tea room 5 stars! I'm find it odd on the review below about the food because the food was all anyone could rave about when I went. It is homemade and presentation amazing. When tray was brought out to the table, we all went 'ahhhh'! As far as the amount, we left with doggy bags! You will not find a better atmosphere anywhere in and around Pittsburgh. Tea was prepared perfectly. We had ginger peach and loved it. Also, we were served a Chai that was outstanding. Best salad dressing I have ever tasted, a berry vinaigrette. We loved it and plan on a speedy return!

In one word 'beautiful'. The house is beautiful, the food looked and tasted beautiful, tea smelled as good as it tasted, the owner was beautiful, table settings, china, silver, linens, entire atmosphere- beautiful! In love with Victorene's!

Very beautiful environment, loved having tea in a true historic landmark. Food was generous, homemade, impressive presentation as well. The owner was so sweet that I even asked if I could hug her when we left. We had a cinnamon plum tea that smelled as good as it tasted. Can't forget to mention the first course was an organic salad topped with berries and a homemade four berry viniegrette that was the best salad dressing I have ever tasted. I think it contained blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries. I will return.

Enjoyed! Enjoyed! Each moment at Victorene's. I am a scrapbooker and loved how we were given a beautifully printed program as a keepsake. The pictures I took o the food turned out incredible! One thing I love is a tea room that feeds you and the presentation was outstanding. They have these antique china stands in pink and gold that are so pretty. The tables are also set with antique china as well. Service was perfect and friendly. We adored Chris, the owner. If you want a special day, this is the place. Oh, and the tea is fresh brewed and piping hot- which I loved!

Absolutely excellent- a tea room you rate all others against! I've been here 3 times-with my mother and sister for Mother's Day, with my sister for the Titanic Tea, and with my best friend for their Christmas Tea & Tour. We are unanimous in delighting in every aspect of our visit to Victorene's. The service is attentive and cheerful, the decor alone is a reason to visit the 1800's Victorian home. The food is fresh and decorative and changes every month. You never leave hungry like some other tea rooms. I must say I attend tea rooms on a regular basis and they can't compare in service, food, selection of tea, or atmosphere to Victorene's. I feel if you are going to TEA, it should be charming. This place is spectacular!

Just made my reservation for the upcoming September Covered Bridge Monongahela History Tea. As I went last year, I thought I was qualified to review this incredible tea room. I must start with the owner, Chrissie. She is a lovely and charming hostess. You will instantly feel as if you have known her your entire life. The 1800's Victorian home is amazing. How honored I felt to be welcomed inside and treated like a family member. All table preperations are done in a classic style. Chris has a knack for those perfect special touches. Now, the food. It is all homemade, even down to the mock devoshire cream. The menu changes with the seasons. She even wrote a cookbook that allows her customers to recreate a tea party at home. The tea selection also change with the season and guests are able to sample two different teas, fresh brewed and loose leaf. I can not wait to attend the September tea and I urge customers to do the same!
