I love this place! The food is amazing, and is home made!!! Most tea rooms use packaged stuff but this place makes it by hand. I loved listening to Joy tell me about how she creates her recipes. FABULOUS! A true gem!!!

My friends and I visited Florida in early July ’08 and decided to stop by the Victorian Grace for tea. We were served in one of its private rooms where the decoration was so authentic that we thought we were back in the Victorian Age. Everything in this tea room is clean, neat and tidy.
The cucumber sandwiches were delicious as were the mouth-watering scones. There was also a variety of teas, namely Paris, Caribe, Indian Spice, etc. I loved it so much that I bought a few of the teas to bring back to NY. You can also buy are other items in the shop such as tea sets, decorative napkins, costume jewelry etc.
Service was excellent. If only we could have stayed there all afternoon!!!
I would definitely go back to this tearoom on my next trip to Florida.

Exceptional Tea Room. I have been to others in my home town of Brandon, and by far Victorian Grace has the best scones and the best variety of tea by far. I visit at least once a week!

I recently visited the Victorian Grace tearoom and was in awe when I walked in the door.I am 13 years old and went with some of my cousins from NYC. It reminded me of Alice in Wonderland;I felt like I was really in wonderland.I was served the best scones in the world. These scones are quite delicious compared to the ones I have had in other tearooms.I was also served many other delicacies such as brownies, sandwiches, cookies, and the best chicken and wild rice soup ever!! The tearoom has many items that can be purchased so you can have your own tea time at home-all flavors of tea and beautiful teacups.Going to the Victorian Grace tearoom may be the best choice one can ever make!!

For years I passed Victoria Grace, I never thought to stop by until a friend dragged me in the door. We admired the decor and was immediately escorted into the main room where Joy brought us my first scone and my first experience of devonshire cream. The scones were so great, I had dreams of them in my sleep... We have made this a weekly excursion ever since. The service is fast, friendly, and Joy makes you feel like one of the girls. Really nice place for those mid afternoon crisis breaks.

This tea room is one of the most beautiful and cozy places in Brandon. It is a true get away among this busy and often stressful world we live in. Joy is very friendly and more than happy to accommodate you. The food is delicious and the Scones are to die for. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a afternoon getaway.

A+++++

This is my second time visiting the Victorian Grace tearoom and my experience this time was even better than I remembered. The newly decorated interior was charming and elegant. The hostess was wonderful and made our group feel at home. Being from NYC and having frequented many tearooms there, never have I experienced such personal service and warmth. The scones were moist and delicious. I had a chicken and wild rice soup which was to die for. I wholeheartedly recommended this tearoom to anyone who appreciates the finer things in life!

I went with two girlfriends on 8/9/09. The little pink building didn't look like much on the outside but the inside was absolutely charming. We sat in the main room but they also have adorable private rooms on a first come/first serve basis. We started with a delicious potato soup and a fruity tea. We weren't asked what kind of tea we wanted but it didn't really matter, we all loved it. I later requested decaf and she brought out another beautiful pot brewed just for me. The three tiered tray of goodies was beautifully presented and the food delicious. My absolute favorite (and my girlfriend's too) was the blueberry and white chocolate chip scone with Devonshire cream. It was warm and the chocolate gooey. Just perfect. Our hostess and part owner's name I believe was Loretta and s... (more)

Our family of 5 visited the Tearoom
for the first time.
Upon entering the elegance and the ambiance was breathtaking.
The decor was a true reflection of the Victorian era.
We enjoyed the never ending supply of the delicious tea served with such finesse.
We loved the presentation of the meal. Starting with the soup, it was
delicious. The scones melted in your
mouth.
Everyone who loves either a relaxing time alone or with friends has to visit Victorian Grace Teahouse.

Truly a wonderful experience!

My daughters and I went to Victorian Grace today and was graciously greeted and quickly seated as always. The tea we requested was Black Currant and it is delicious. The service and presentation first rate. The food outstanding. The scones melt in your mouth. We will continue to visit with them whenever we want to have a lovely afternoon with elegant surroundings.

A MUST VISIT FOR EVERYONE!!!!!! A++++

If you are a fan of tea rooms or are just curious and want to find a great tea room and not be disappointed, this is the place to stop in to for the afternoon!!!!!

I visited Victorian Grace about a week ago. It was my first visit. I wanted to express to everyone that it was an incredibly wonderful experience for me. Your place is so elegant, warm and inviting. It was clear to me that the tea room is run by people who have taken the time to carefully make this place a wonderful experience for everyone who visits. They care about their customers. Their careful thought and passion for what they believe in and for what they want EVERYONE to experience was very evident to me. Everyone was very warm, courteous and friendly. The teas and fo... 4 of us tea room groupies came from St. Pete for tea last week (as we have done many times before) to find the new face of 'Joy'. It's always scary when you see a new face at a place you love...but her name was certainly fitting. She was ready and willing to meet our every needs and requests. When I made our reservations I asked if their fabulous Onion Tarts would be on the menu...and there they were in all their tasty glory! Not to mention that they make the very best scones we have found anywhere around...and we do get around! Brandon's best kept secret...but don't keep it a secret...tell all your friends to go see for themselves!

This was my first trip to a tea room and I had the best time! I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the decor of the rooms, and the quality of the food. I went with a group of 20 and the service was the same as if I had been in a party of 2! I would recommend this tea room to anyone. I plan to make a return trip with my sisters and mother very soon.

I was also at Victorian Grace Mother's Day weekend, and it was as delightful as always! Afternoon tea has been a tradition for me and my mother and we have yet to find a better tea room in the Tampa/Brandon area.

Someone mentioned below that the scone recipe changed. I can assure you it has NOT. Victorian Grace has hands-down the BEST scones -- quite unique and lovely. And the chicken salad is also as wonderful as it has always been.

I recently returned to Victorian Grace,as usal it was delightful. I was disappointed to hear Grace Cox was no longer there. I feel Grace was the heart and ambiance of the tea room. She made you feel you really were somewhere special. I also miss her chicken salad. When she came to your table you felt like she was there, with out a blue tooth in her ear. She brought tea to Brandon she will be missed

Visited this lovely tearoom again and it was another wonderful experience. They are always so kind about accommodating my dietary needs and surprise me with something different every time I visit. The soup was wonderful, the food delicious and the service friendly. I always can count on my visit to tis tearoom being very pleasant and relaxing. Just what I needed in the middle of a hectic week.

Visited your tearoom about a week ago and mentioned that the scones had changed, this was said to owner, not behind her back,'I' and a friend, visited another local tearoom and 'I' made mention that the scones were not the same, along with the praise for the new place scones. This should have been no surpize, but it seems as if it was., since a few remarks were made and returned to me. So needless to say, this is to clarify, that 'I' left the feedback about your scones on the other local tearooms review, but since 'WE' had visited, I left feedback in the context of our visit ! Maybe instead of telling others you should spend more time perfecting making scones. Oh, also by the way, Fear not 'I' and let me say it again 'I' so this time there will be no misunderstanding, not 'WE' wont ever be back !

My boyfriend and I are frequent visitors to VG. I look forward to picking up my lunch or going there during the work week. The scones are out of this world (and no, they don't share the recipes - 'top secret' as I was told). There's been some personnel changes and an increase in staff, or so it seems. I was informed that Grace Cox no longer works there. While a few reviewers didn't think very highly of her hostess skills, I found over time that she warmed up to regulars and I now miss her. And for some reason, the scones don't taste quite the same since she left. If you want good chicken salad croissant sandwiches and tasty scones, come to VG. Oh, a little secret - their potato salad is the red variety from Publix. Southern Red or something with 'red' in the title.

This was my first visit to a tearoom. I had no idea places like this existed! What a beautiful place. Each room was decorated so pretty and it was such a peaceful place to relax. The service was excellent and the tray of food she brought out was almost too pretty to eat. The food was delicious. We rried 2 different types of tea and both were very good.

I called earlier today for reservations and the lady was very friendly and answered ALL my questions over the phone. Soon as my mom and I got there we were greeted and in less then a minute were sat at our table. Our server was very kind and on top of everything. We loved how the decorations inside matched the name of the teahouse. It was our first time there and had a great experience. We will definetly return!

This is by far the best tea room experience I have has thus far, the tea is always just right never bitter and the scones very light and fluffy. I have also taken people there for their first time at a tea room and they always enjoy it. I went again today and had to post a review. the decor is great, nice lighting and a quiet atmosphere. The food is served on a three tired server with a tiny vase of flowers on top very pretty. The floral and pink theme is carried through out the whole tea room.Try this tearoom for a pleasant and enjoyable tea time you will not leave hungry.

Of all the tea rooms I've been to, Victorian Grace ranks among the best. There was an extensive variety of teas offered. The selection and quality of food offered were impressive. The scones and chicken salad sandwich especially appealed to my taste buds. My last trip was even better than the previous. The one negative about the previous trip was that a server was not very polite. However it is apparent that she is no longer working there. I am a definite fan of Victorian Grace, and will be dropping by next time I'm in town.

My boss and I had lunch in this tea room a few weeks ago, and I was awestruck! I felt like I had stepped through a door to the past! The atmosphere was so elegant, I asked my server for a tiara! This week, my boss took all her managers (5 of us) to lunch at Victorian Grace for Christmas! We were so moved by the Victorian surroundings, and had the most peaceful, enjoyable lunch. I can't wait to take my daughter and my grand daughter here to share an afternoon of Victorian elegance! The scones are so light, they melt in your mouth. The service was friendly, quaint, and made us feel as if we were at home. I'm looking forward to going back!

I took my Mother to this wonderful little tearoom on my second visit. The rooms are all quaintly decorated and even contain beautiful tea sets, teas and bits and baubles of all sorts that you can purchase. After being seated tea was soon brought and then we had a delicious pumpkin soup followed by a lovely assortment of sandwiches, scones and pastries. The scones just melt in your mouth!! They are definitely my favorite!! The servers are not intrusive but checked occasionally to see if there was anything else they could do. There is soft music playing and generally a lovely ambiance. I hope to soon bring some of my girlfriends for a lovely genteel tea party.

This is the tea room we usually go to, because the scones are delicious. If only they treated their customers nicer. Almost every time we've gone, our server (same one, you all know her I'm sure) has not been very friendly. I agree with the reviewers that said they thought the server was 'put out' by having to serve them. There is now a new tea room in Valrico with fantastic scones, so I don't feel like I have to put up with the attitude at V Grace!!

Unfortunately, my experience mirrors the two reviewers in late October. I have called several times to schedule a bridal shower and not only have my calls gone unreturned, but also the shop has been closed for 'inventory', or 'illness'. No information has been offered about price and accommodations. We've wasted a lot of preparation time waiting for a return confirmation call. We had our hearts set on this location, and we are disappointed that we're forced to make other arrangements because of poor management. I don't want to risk finding the shop closed on our party day.

This was a nice place with not so nice service. They seemed unappreciative of their customers, rather inhospitable. It was as if they were put out just having us there. I assumed that it was just something for that day - people can have bad days, so I went back several times, you see I loved the scones. I found myself feeling uncomfortable, like a guest that is staying in someone's home, rudely taking advantage of their hospitality. I tipped well, was patient, I smiled and was friendly. I was undemanding and yet the hostess seemed annoyed and bitter- a total damper. The scones were the best I've had. The little deserts lacked imagination. The sandwiches were nice. The price was reasonable.

I've been to many tea rooms, and this one is the best. I've visited Victorian Grace on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The scones are out of this world, and are even better than the scones I've had in England. The key lime scones are my favorite, as well as the blueberry scones. They're also made with fresh fruit which I have to say is very unique. The homemade soups are delicious (Sopa Gallego, and others). The tea is is exceptional. The Passion Fruit, Paris, and Cranberry Autumn teas are my favorite. I totally recommend that you visit Victorian Grace.
