Variety: I brought my mother here for an afternoon of conversation and I couldn't have been more pleased. The service was great, the scones and desserts were tasty and presented well. I would gladly take mom back for tea again. Breakfast there is more to my liking and very tasty. |

Variety: A luncheon at the 'Exchange', which the Wenham Tea House is now called, was pleasant, and the food was very good. No Longer a tea house, the restaurant has changed quite a bit since I was last there several years ago. If you are looking for a true 'tea' experience, you will be disappointed. The luncheon menu did not feature any scones, crumpets, etc. The bagged tea was presented in a box with a pot of hot water. I remember having my first scone at the tea house, and it was a lovely experience. Honestly, this restaurant should not be listed on the teamap any longer, as it is far from the place it once was. |

Variety: What a disappointment. I made reservations for a friend and I- didn't matter. It took 45 minutes to be served 4 little sandwiches which were spread very, very thin and were less than 1' square. Muffin and 3 1' square baked items- brownie and toll house bar. A little bit of whipped cream and a spot of jelly. Did I mention they ran out of scones? Not at all what it was hyped to be. They said new chef but how hard are little sandwiches and does it take 45+ minutes to throw a premade assortment on a plate? |
