Enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the fire in our Pub-style tearoom. Located in the historic Cloyd Cabin (circa 1783) in scenic Botetourt County, you will find our tearoom to be a place where you can simply unwind and refresh yourself. Whether you are perusing the daily paper, browsing our ecclectic and appointed gift shop, or relishing time with friends, you will find that the only dilemma you face is choosing which tea to try next!
We offer a simple, but fabulous menu including freshly baked Organic Bagels and hot Bagel Sandwiches with gourmet organic cream cheeses. (Choose from such bagels as Spinach & Roasted Garlic, Sundried Tomato & Herb, Apple-Cranberry, and more.) New to the menu are our 'Paesano' chicken salads: Choose a Baked Spinach-Artichoke Chicken Salad with parmesan cheese stuffed in a bread bowl, or our Cranberry-Almondine Chicken Salad with toasted pecans. Or satisfy your sweet tooth with one of our delectable scones baked fresh daily in our Tavern.

Food: I have been to White Oak many times over the last few years with my daughters and friends. It is always wise to make reservations because it is becoming so popular. We love the sweet, friendly service, the quaint atmosphere, and the yummy teas. We each buy a small pot of tea and share. Therefore, we have tried many of them. In fact, I am sipping some loose-leaf Darjeeling (Christmas present) from there as I write. The scones, bagels and chicken salad are incredible. I am a very happy customer. |

Food: Ive visited the tea tavern several times and have always made a reservation. the last time even tho i made a reservation had to stand and wait over an hour, This was not pleasant especially when i had my elder mother with me. There was no where to sit and wait and was never offerd. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth and we have not been back since this experience. |
