Variety: For the past two years, we've spent most Saturday's at White Oak, sipping Wild Blueberry and Lemon Mango teas, nibbling on the hot and cold chicken salads, and relaxing after a long week. The tea and the chicken salad tastes every bit as delicious now as on our first visit! But the real magic of White Oak is the atmosphere. Kim and her staff create a stress-free, relaxing atmosphere perfect for an intimate moment with your mate, a jolly good conversation with your best friends, or a reflective retreat with a great book. A truly unique experience awaits - enjoy! |

Variety: This is definately an experience not be be missed! The property is enchanting and the staff is not pretentious, they make you feel at home. I will be back on my next visit to the NRV. They apparently listen to positive feedback, because there was no telly in the dining area, and soft music created a calming background to the teahouse experience. I enjoyed the herbal mint tea and the warm chicken salad a treat! The charming giftshop is an enjoyable place to explore if you are waiting to be seated.:D |

Variety: The charm and wonderful food continue to draw me back to the White Oak Tea Tavern again and again. My daughter recently came home for a visit--her first request was to go to the White Oak Tea Tavern. The chilled chicken salad is extraordinary. I really like CSG's idea of period music. |

Variety: Wonderful service***** Excellent FOOD! The gift shop is so fun...something for everyone!!! The only suggestion for improvement would be to remove the TV, it really spoils the atmosphere. The TV is a distraction and doesn't fit the decor. I see the Tea Tavern as a place to get away from the news of the world. I would suggest some music from the period in which the cabin was built (circa 1783). |

Variety: Every visit to White Oak Tea has been a positive and pleasant one. The tea is delicious, the chicken salad is to die for and I could drink the balsamic vinaigrette used for bread dipping. The atmosphere is quaint, friendly and welcoming, making it my favorite place to meet up with friends for lunch. The fact that it is also a gift shop adds so much appeal. The staff is top quality...very knowledgeable and very friendly. |

Variety: Absolutely delightful! I would highly recommend White Oak Tea to anyone who loves delicious tea, quaint atmosphere, wonderful service and the best chicken salad in the country. I live out of state and whenever I visit my daughter in Fincastle, White Oak Tea is the one place I insist on going. |
