Expect to be impressed! Susan and her staff do not disappoint!! Charming and quaint tea room tucked away in Florence, with many options to suit your appetite...all beautifully prepared and served. The tea is exquisite. Optional choice of fine China to enrich the experience. Have Susan tell you the story of the collection...it gives new meaning to 'if you break it, you buy it' (lol). Enjoy the leisurely tea, as you won't be rushed. Everything is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, and you're sure to find a tasteful gift for any tea fancier! Mom and I had a most enjoyable afternoon tea with you, Susan. We congratulate you on your upcoming 'reduation' from pink to red hat!!!

Each time I have visited Yesterday's, I am amazed at the artistry of the entire experience. Not only is the tea superbly flavorful and expertly served, but the food is delicious, outstandingly creative, and served with appealing presentation. The servers are always friendly and make patrons feel welcome and at ease. Susan (owner and manager)is extremely knowledgeable about the benefits of various teas and the proper way to serve them and inspires the patrons with a new appreciation for tea and for the value of a fine afternoon tea experience. The tasteful decor and soft music contribute to the uniquely lovely experience. My friend and I have agreed we want to celebrate birthdays there ever year and hope to visit more frequently with other girlfriends and family members. We also hope to bring our husbands there to try their Sunday brunch.

Yesterday's is one of a handful of places that I can go to take a step back from the stresses of life and relax. The tea and food offerings are all exquisite in flavor and presentation. The service and environment are also superb. After having professionally reviewed hundreds of Northern Kentucky eateries, Yesterday's stands out in every aspect.

My wife and I have grown up with tea.
So we do expect the best and fortunately we have found it at Yesterday's.
This would be a great stop for anyone
traveling the I-75/71 corridor.
The Cafe is a step back into a kinder and more gentle era.

We visited Yesterday's Tea Room for a Dickens tea. Our experience was excellent. We were able to choose 3 different varieties of tea to be brewed for the table. The food was delicious and came in lots of small courses providing time to enjoy the tea and company. The environment was beautiful and the staff were willing to accommodate any needs of the group. (We had one person who was lactose intolerant.) The selection of loose leaf teas to purchase to take home was great. The staff (especially the owner)was highly knowledgeable and did everything they could to make our experience pleasant. It was definitely worth the hour and a half drive from Lexington. I will be back!

My wife and I happened upon this jewel while looking for the best-of the-best tea room in Kentucky and I think that we found it! The seasonal selection of teas is outstanding...and the same can be said for the pastries. The choices available for the entree expressed the variety of options to please any palate. I could go on but I think enough has been said to show my appreciation for the planning and management by Susan; the tea servers Amanda and Courtney; culinary staff Vicky, and the harpist, Laurel. Be assured that we will visit here again while recommending this outstanding tea room to others.

My very first visit to Yesterday's Tea House was wonderfully unique and enchanting. I had contacted Yesteray's and spoke with Susan about my homemaker group coming for afternoon tea. Our homemaker group (Flat Creek Elliston) had a specific date in mind and Susan was booked that afternoon instead of asking me to arrange another date, Susan offered for our group to come 'after hours'. Susan worked with me on the menu and gave us very delectable choices for our service that day. During our tea, Susan and Amanda educated us in the different types of China, glassware and of course the variety of teas she offers. It was difficult to choose our 3 teas because of her vast selection. We chose the Mother's Bouquet, Almond Cookie and a Blooming Flower Tea. They were all very pleasing to the palette. ... (more)

We stumbled across Yesterday's looking for someplace for lunch. But the hostess was very sweet and gave us an introductory tour. She did not seem put off by our ignorance (never heard of bubble tea or Matcha before). She was eager to share something she obviously enjoyed. We're planning coming back for the full experience next month when we are introducing some out of state friends to our city. The patio was so pleasant and was perfect for visiting and planning our weekend. Really gave me that 'lady of leisure' feeling. I especially loved three baked items. Her grandmother's Coffee Cake is so good. It has the texture and strusel filling I remember from my grandmother and haven't tasted since. The savory cheddar chive scones are so full of flavor they are addictive. And the date squares have a generous fruit filling without being overly sweet.

What a magical experience! The beautiful and inviting decor, lovely. whimsical table settings, and soft music create an extraordinary ambiance. The hostess greets the patrons in a warm, welcoming manner that is rarely experienced elsewhere these days. The servers are gracious and go out of their way to assure an enjoyable experience for the patrons. The owner, Susan, is knowledgeable about the health benefits of various teas and can also recommend teas for different pallets. She puts everyone at ease. Her enthusiasm for creating a memorable, pleasant experience makes patrons feel welcome and comfortable. When the server offers choices, everything sounds great and it is difficult to choose. However, all the food is of the highest quality with unique and delicious flavors, fresh, and served... (more)

Since 'discovering' Yesterday's about 5 years ago, I always consider it a special place to go. When one of my out-of-state college friends visited, we made it a point to visit this tea room. Most of our group chose frozen bubble teas and a variety of the delicious deserts (the old fashioned date squares are one of my personal favorites!). My friend was delighted with her experience and was able to buy one of her favorite loose-leaf teas to take home!

Thanks for coming in! It sounds like you were enjoying a lot of our Cafe style food. Not many people know we have a Cafe on the other side of our Tea Room! Because it's been growing in popularity, our Cafe is now opening at 7am during the week (Tuesday-Friday) so be sure to stop in again soon!

One of my favorite things about Yesterday's Cafe and Tearoom is that I can actually eat there! By that, I mean, I am a vegetarian and often menu selections become limited for me. They go the extra mile to be sure customers know food items are vegetarian/vegan, and they do it with a smile. I appreciate it, and I'm sure other vegetarians/vegans do as well. Thanks for my wonderful experience! I'm positive I'll have many more!

As a treat, I took myself to Yesterday's for Sunday brunch. Three unique teas were served with my meal, and American Pride was my favorite. Really, can you beat chocolate-flavored tea? Brunch came with several courses, including dessert. Among my favorite items were the white chocolate raspberry bars and the Greek strata. Absolutely amazing!

- Amanda 07/09/12

It is wonderful that you chose Yesterday's as treat for yourself. The American Pride tea does have chocolate, which has been very popular as one of our newest teas. It is wonderful to hear that you had a delightful Sunday and Yesterday's

Today I was treated to a lovely afternoon tea with a friend and her mother. What a relaxing way to catch up. The tasty food (loved the chilled strawberry soup) and beautiful presentation created the perfect backdrop. The servers Courtney, Nicole and Amanda did an outstanding job serving Vicky's mouth watering dishes. Can't want to return!

I am always very delighted with my experience while at Yesterday's Tea House and Cafe. I took my mother and mother-in-law there for a lovely 'Mother's Day Afternoon Tea' service. The presentation was impressive and the servers were exemplary. Our visit was incredibly relaxing. I was most impressed with the quaint charm of the boutique and tea service. Yesterday's has certainly become our go-to location for a nice relaxing lunch; while the cafe offers a quick resort for a drink or takeaway meal.

Yesterday's Cafe & Tea Room is outstanding! My sister and I took a tea room road trip, and had an exquisite afternoon at Yesterday's. We thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday brunch. Nicole was our server - she was absolutely charming, very knowlegeable and friendly. The dessert trolley was adorable, and the food was delicious - thank you, Vicky! We're from Minnesota, but will definitely recommend Yesterday's to our traveling friends!

WE were served the lemon cream tea at our last visit and it was fabulous. I normally don't like lemon in my tea but this made me change my mind. Overall, the food, beverages, and service were exceptional.

Kris,
I love to hear that you tried something new and enjoyed the experience. The Lemon Creme tea that you tried is a Rooibos tea from South Africa. Hope to see you back very soon.

I wanted to take my best friend to a special restaurant for lunch. I found it at Yesterdays! The owner Susan has created a delightlful and comfortable environment for conversation and shopping! The staff did an excellent job of efficiently serving lunch without rushing us. The boutique offered a lovely selection for gifts, tea items and stationary. Finally, my friend was so pleased with a memorable and charming experience. Thank you Yesterday's!

Yesterdays has,by far some of the most knowledgeable and cheerful staff I've ever encountered-not just at a tearoom, but anywhere! Susan the owner has a true passion for tea and you can't help but learn a new appreciation for it by coming to yesterdays. Dozens of unique loose leaf teas are available,as well as Matcha and several delicious chais. The baked goods are all fresh and so amazing- many infused with unique flavors and tea. Yesterdays also includes a more casual cafe with many delicious coffee and tea drinks including a chai frost and delicious flavored lattes- even a Tea for Takeaway when you're on the go. So much attention to detail is taken- your experience is sure to be excellent.

I celebrated a belated Mother's Day with my mom there today and everything was amazing! Our server, Courtney was awesome, she knew her stuff when describing the different teas and which course they would go best with. The chef, Vicky created an amazing chicken salad and all the other goodies were fantastic. I will definitely be coming back again and will partake in another afternoon tea.
