Absolutely delightful. Checking 'excellent' all the way down the list, and plan to return.

A wonderful experience. The teas, food and service (thank you Judy and Courtney!) were all excellent. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the building is decorated beautifully. A relaxing, fun and delicious way to spend the afternoon. I look forward to returning.

I brought my friend to Yesterday's Cafe & Tea Room to celebrate her birthday. We enjoyed a remarkable complete afternoon tea luncheon. Words cannot describe how much we loved everything about this unique experience and place! The building that is home to this wonderful tea room holds a special place in my heart! My Grandfather and my Father after him owned this building and ran a successful hardware business (Lucas Hardware) for many years. Several of my fondest childhood memories were made in this very building and now that I have discovered Yesterday's Cafe and Tea Room I feel that this building will continue to give me more wonderful memories!

My sisters and I brought our mom to Yesterday's Cafe to celebrate her 83rd birthday, They had a little place card by her seat at the table that said 'Happy Birthday, Jo'. She took the card home and wrote on the back, 'This was my best birthday ever'..... That about says it all! Thank you Yesterday's Cafe for the wonderful service, attention to detail, the delicious food and tea and for making my mom's 83rd birthday, 'the best birthday, ever'!

My friends and I go to tea rooms all over the country and Yesterday's Cafe and tea room is in our top 10. Atmosphere and servers were terrific. One unique feature is you can smell the teas you are interested in being served. This is most helpful in selecting a new tea to experience. I would highly recommend this tea room.

I took my mom here for a birthday treat today, and we both had a WONDERFUL time! We had the White Christmas tea, which was absolutely excellent. It was hard to choose a tea, because so many are available, and they are all unique flavors. Neither my mom nor I can have dairy, and the staff made a special effort to see which pastries we could eat We had the banana bread and a pumpkin praline bread--both were DELICIOUS! This was a huge deal for us, because no one ever has pastries we can have! The staff is beyond great--Susan, Vicky, Lacey, and Amanda could not have been nicer or more helpful. It was a wonderful birthday outing for my mom, and we have already planned more return trips with my sister and grandmother!

I have been coming to the tea room since it opened. The atmosphere and hospitality is always the same, warm, friendly and yummy food and drinks to enjoy. Thank you Susan and staff for continuing to make your customers feel so welcome.

I attended the children's tea with my sister and her daughter, my beautiful neice. We all had a great time and my neice was more fascinated with the live harp music than she was all the 'pinkalicous food'. Also, I recently have changed my lifestyle and my nutritional aspect of my life is now vegan. (Which a lot of folks deem as strange and weird.) However, the owner of the tea room, was most gracious and accomodating and offered me vegan food at the tea!! I don't know of anyone else doing that - other than a totally vegan restaurant. So, Susan went out of her way to make my day with my family very comfortable for us all! All the girls at the tea received a very cute purse that went along with the theme of the tea. We love the tea room and look forward to many more visits there! Thank you, Susan, and all the staff who work there and make every experience there more charming than the last.!

The food wasn't the best - very, very small portions. We had to wait often for our teas to be refilled. No sugar cubes available, which was disappointing. Noticed that a family who were 'regulars' got the best service, which was disappointing. But the tea room was very wonderfully decorated and very inviting.

I highly recommend the afternoon tea. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The tea service was lovely with a good variety of teas. The price was very reasonable and most of all, the service was outstanding. Staff was friendly, knowledgable and delightful. I will definitely be going back...

My husband and I did a High Tea to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. Susan and her staff made us feel very welcome and the service was excellent. We continued out on the patio for wine and music and was the perfect ending to a special evening. Thanks again.

This was a wonderful experience for me. It was my first time visiting this tea house and the professionalism and quality of the food and service was unmatched. I will definately be returning!

Thanks so much for providing a beautiful place to have a bridal shower. You provided everything needed so my mother and I could enjoy the event without having to worry over fixing food and decorations.  The food and tea were delicious. The surroundings were perfect for a bridal shower. The bride enjoyed herself and was very pleased with everything. One person told me it was a very classy affair. That was what I was going for and you succeeded. I would recommend Yesterday’s to anyone looking to have a special ladies day out or special event.

 

What a lovely experience! We were warmly welcomed into an exquisitely decorated establishment. The soft background music, traditional beauty of white lace curtains, rich wood furniture, nostalgic tea cups, and surprising and whimsical decorative touches made our introduction to Yesterday's appealing. Our server was gracious, friendly, and unhurried, allowing us to savor the delicious tea and delectable salad, soup, scone, tea sandwiches, fruit, and desserts. The proprietor visited our lovely window-side table and told us of the history of her cafe and tea room. She acquainted us with the subtle differences in the teas we had selected and recommended which of the teas might complement each of the courses. An additional nice touch to my good friend's birthday celebration was that they had written, 'Happy Birthday, (name)', on the 'reserved' card on our table. My friend and I each plan to return with other friends and family members so they can experience this uniquely lovely afternoon tea.

I went with my two daughters and a very close friend. My youngest, 3, loved the lavender lemonade and the ready of the Fancy Nancy story. It was such a lovely experience that we will be holding my youngest's next birthday party there! I love everything about the tearoom and intend to make it a regular stop on my list of things to do! What a wonderful experience we just had! From the moment we walked in to saying good bye, we were treated like special guests. The staff was terrific. The food and tea was extraordinary! How fun it was to pick out our teas from the sniffing bar. We had a grand time shopping too! We will be back!!

I was introduced to Yesterdays by way of the Sat. am bookclub. I LOVE it. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Love, Love everyone there. They make us feel so special! Love Ya

What a treat to be able to have brunch at Yesterday's. The food, service and atmosphere are superb. Am from the Chicago area and would rather go to this charming spot than the Drake (except, maybe, at Christmas time). Can't wait to go back again. Susan is the consumate hostess/owner.

I took my husband (yes, man-friendly!), and we had a wonderful time. Tea and food was excellent. We are going back for brunch!

My daughter had her birthday party at the tea shop with her little friends. The girls had a wonderful time and the food wss great!

I brought my grandmother to the tea shop for a lite lunch sfter shopping. What a delightful surprise! We enjoyed the food so much we departed but wonderfully overindulged in food.

This tea shop ranks up there with The Empress in Victoria, Canada. A visit there is always a delight to behold. Her soups are gourmet, her scones are delectable, her salads a delight. And she has the best tea selection in the Commomwealth.

Susan and her staff are fabulous. They can turn an ordinary day into a wonderful memory. Florence is lucky to have such a world class business!

My first visit was delightful! I am already planning my next visit, and my next, and my next. Staff cheerful, the setting warm and cozy yet inviting. WONDERFUL food. Cute gift shop with unique offereings and huge selection of teas and assessories. Thank you for making MY day special. Loved it!!

My wife and I visited YESTERDAY'S Cafe and Tea Room for the first time today and we had a wonderful dining experience with the Afternoon Tea. The food and tea(s) were excellent and the owner not only served us elegantly, but was most informative not only about the food and teas, but about the tradition of Afternoon Tea. We are already making plans to return for ourselves; and we will also be bringing friends of ours who would enjoy this relaxing and peaceful Tea Room. What a wonderful dining treasure, that we just discovered here in Florence, KY.

My friends and I had a blast. The food was great, the tea was delicious, and the environment was wonderful!
