Susan, the owner, made the dining experience even more enjoyable with her vivacious personality. The atmosphere of this establishment is best described as Whimsical Victorian, with the quirky mosaic art pieces in the courtyard paired with antique china & depression glass serving pieces. Excellent tea! Excellent Food! Excellent Personnel! You can be assured that I will return again and again to Yesterday's Cafe & Tea Room.

Kathy and I have treated ourselves to Yesterday's on several occassions over the last 3 yrs. I must say even 'real men' will just love the formal teas or just the causal lunch which is reasonably priced and Oh so GOOD. The upstairs gift shop is the largest and finest we have ever seen...and we have visited many. You'll love Susan and Art--the owners. We always tell our friends about Yesterday's!!!!

Roger, Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. It is very gratifying as an owner to hear such words of praise. My staff and I try very hard to find the finest and most unique merchandise for our gift boutique. Our staff motto is to every day find a customer who we can help brighten their day. We are thrilled that we brightened yours! God Bless Susan

I surprised my wife Sharon with a Valentine’s tea—thought I’m not sure it was much of a surprise since tea is one of her passions and Yesterday’s is clearly THE place to go. As usual, Sharon wandered through the gift boutique beforehand in search of a special gift for her friend in St. Louis. Susan and her wonderful staff know how to make things truly memorable. Of course, it’s not just the superior events that make Yesterday’s special but also the ability to just stop in on a regular day for a change of pace—or as a unique spot for a quiet business meeting. Highest recommendation.

I know from our conversation at tea that the two of you are quite the tea experts and have traveled to many tea rooms. We feel honored to receive such a high review and my staff and I will strive to make your next visit to our tea room even better! Our gift boutique is now fully stocked with our springtime items... so Sharon will have many new things to look at on her next visit! Susan

My husband treated me to the Valentine Tea. It was perfect. The table settings and candlelight provided the perfect Valentines' Day setting. From soup to dessert each course was sooooooooooooo good. The chocolate cup mousse dessert was the perfect ending. I cannot wait to come back. In addition I found out they also serve bruch. This is an expereice everyone will enjoy. A little bit of fun not to far away from home

If you are looking for a unique place to dine with family and friends that will make a memory, then Yesterday's Cafe' & Tea Room is where you should go. Attention to detail is evident throughout the tea room. There is a seasonal tea menu that is coordinated with the food menu. You can relax in the cafe or dine in the tea room for lunch. There is a 9 room gift boutique upstairs that surpasses any gift boutique in the Tri State area. There are countless one of a kind gifts that range from pets to babies to pampering yourself. It is the ultimate destination for a fun, relaxing Girl's Day Out! The Tea Room is the diamond in the Rough on Main Street In Florence, KY.

I recently brought my wife to a bruncheon tea for the holidays. Being a guy, I was a little leary about 'going to tea', but boy was I surprised! The staff at the tea room treated us like royalty, and taking my wife to tea gave me major brownie points. The food was deleicious and plenty of it. I have never been much of a tea drinker but the teas were fantastic! A wonderful expereience, so good that I'm already planning to attend the Candlelight Valentine's Tea. One word of caution, my wife LOVED the upstairs gift boutique!

Our visit to Yesterday's was indeed a trip back in time. To a time when service and good taste were predominantly what one expected in a first-class eating establishment. Yesterday's is no disappointment. It is a tea drinker's paradise. The service is impecable, the food is delicious, the presentation is lovely. It is obvious that their primary concern is the guest's comfort, pleasure and enjoyment. Looking very forward to a return visit.

If you have something to celebrate this is the place to go. Even if you go by yourself they will make it a special day for you. The service and staff are excellent the food and teas are fantastic. The gift shop has everything you would need to make a pot of tea at home and Susan the the owner has a great knowledge of each tea. There are also plenty of gift ideas and things to pamper yourself. I can't say enough about Yesterday's Tea & Cafe once you have been there you will know what I mean!

I took my two friends to Yesterdays Dickens Tea for their 40th Birthdays. The foods served were all delicious. We all enjoyed the three teas that were served with the African Christmas tea as our favorite. Our china was over 100 years old and the staff was delightful. They even let us linger after hours trying on shoes and browsing through the gift shop. They went above and beyond!

Went to the tea room with my best friend last fall and it was the best experience I ever had. We were treated like royalty everyone was helpful explaining the different type of teas and the english traditions. It was a totally relaxing pampering day. I can't wait till my next visit to Florence Kentucky, so I can stopin again. I now still have some of her great teas mailed to me.

This is the third year my dear friend has treated me to the Dickens Tea for a delightful Christmas treat. Pampering is the key word here, no detail is left undone. Gift shop has unique gifts that are fabulous. Would recommend it to anyone. And special teas are available for children.

My wife and I have received nothing but great service and product from the folk's at Yesterday's Cafe and Tea room !
We are always treated as if we are the most important people there. My wife really loves their Smoothies ! The quiet charm of the place makes it really seem like Yesterday's Cafe. The gift shop has unique items that make it easy to find something for even the most discerning recipient.

My significant other and I have been going to this tea room almost as long as we've been together. Many very happy memories have been made there including a surprize birthday party for me using the actually tea set that was to be my gift! The ladies that serve are some of the best I have ever seen. The attitude they hold and the joy with which they serve you can not be compared. I am a life long tea drinker and plan on keeping my 'weekly appointment' :) with Susan and the ladies for a long time to come!

I was raised on tea, and was thrilled to hear that a tea room had opened in Florence. Susan and her staff have made Yesterday's the most welcoming, warmest place to go for a quick pick-me-up or a sit-down meal. The loving care that Susan and her staff put into preparing food and beverage are apparent, as the positive (healthy!) energy comes though in every bite/sip. The tea is more delicious, and the food more scrumptious, because it is prepared with pride, a joyful heart, and the intent of being nourishing to the body and the soul.

The entire atmosphere is charged with warmth and camaraderie; strangers are liable to strike up conversations across the room on any subject imaginable. This is part of the magic that the staff creates. Regulars are warmly welcomed back, first-t... (more)

I was delighted when a friend informed me of the presence of Yesterday's Tea Room! When the Elmwood Inn in Perryville, KY closed their Tea Rooms I was extremely disappointed.

'The Tea Experience' is very important to me. I find it relieves my stress and being with friends calms my spirit. I find this at Yesterday's. Every time I go there it is as if I am sitting down with my friends at one of their homes.

I have moved to Indianapolis and cannot find a Tea Room here. So I will be driving to Florence, KY to meet with friends and enjoy my 'Tea Experience'.

Thank you Susan and ladies.

My significant other and I have been going to Yesterday's Cafe for more than two years now, and for more than two years they have been contributing to memorable moments for us. The week just isn't the same when we aren't able to make it there for our Saturday morning respite.

i love to go to yesterday's with my mom, everyone is so nice and and the food is excellent, im not usually a tea person, but with their variety i can always find one to try. i always feel healthier eating lunch there, i leave full, and energetic. you can tell that the food is made with love and pride.

My daughter's birthday was a disaster. The food was expensive and the service was not kid friendly. I asked for a return of some of the money because of how poorly it was handled and I was never contacted. I would not recommend having a child's birthday at Yesterday's. Poor value and tea that tastes like dish water.
