Food: ZenCha is my favorite tea house. The staff are always friendly, bidding you a warm 'welcome' when entering. The ambience is very soothing and calming -- very Zen. Often gentle music plays. (Avoid Gallery Hop nights, however.) ZenCha offers over 100 teas from all over the world. I especially love their delicious bubble tea (it is not made of the powdery stuff that some 'tea' places sell). Recently, they have hired some chefs and now offer a thoughtfully prepared menu with sandwiches, soups, salads, and yummy desserts (all home-made). ZenCha cannot be beat. It's one of my favorite places to go! |
