A quite, beautiful spot. It's upstairs, so feels miles away from the bustle of the street. There is a small food menu, with light asain selections and some wonderful desserts (I can highly reccommend the black sesame creme brulee). The tea menu is beautifully presented on handmade paper, and even includes a map indicating where the teas come from in the world. I only had two teas, and liked both, but wasn't overwhelmed by the presentation. WIth one I was just given one cup of tea (for $7), and then offereed more water later to steep another. Overall I think the creativity of the teas is less than other places I like in NY, but it was still very enjoyable and is a welcome addition to the East Side. I surely will be back.
