Steeped In Comfort
My husband and I visited Steeped In Comfort and were quite impressed. They have their own pastry chef on staff and she makes the most tender, moist and flavorful scones I have ever had; the cinnamon cream which accompanied the scones tasted like gingerbread! Our afternoon tea was brought out promptly, beautifully presented, supremely fresh and our teas, one Earl Grey, one Darjeeling, were steeped to perfection! It is sad when only the disgruntled patrons write reviews complaining about strange things like no tea bags (only inferior tea can be made from a tea bag, and leaving the tea, bagged or loose, in the water even one minute longer than required to brew will produce bitter tea) and members of their parties not receiving items...even the best of establishments make mistakes and can only correct them if made aware of them. I will be returning again soon...still dreaming of those scones and cream!...Mmmmmm.
