The Red Hat Renegades had a wonderful time at Miss Spenser's on June 7. The home is beautiful, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. We were served Ceylon tea (whole leaf) from India. The menu items were attractive and scrumptious! Miss Spenser herself is very talented and brought Anne of Green Gables to life for us. The service was excellent and the Country-Victorian theme was carried through extremely well. We would recommend this tearoom to all. The short drive from Des Moines was well worth the time spent at Miss Spenser's.
