We love flowers in the attic!! Have been there several times for high tea, special buffet events, and just afternoon brunch. The food is amazing! The only reason they did not receive 5 stars is that for a tea house the tea leaves a bit to be desired. You are just given bagged tea to steep yourself at the table. The brand they serve is a delicious one, but that is my only minor complaint. Foods is phenomenal.

I have been to Flowers in the Attic four times, and the food is always excellent. I can't say enough good things about the food, it's so good! I am however, disappointed in the tea selection and flavor, or lack thereof. The teabags offered have no strong flavor, it's hard to tell one from the other. I think if it's a tea house, that the tea should be of better quality. The antique decor is wonderful, as well as the gift shop. If the tea itself was improved, that would be fantastic!

Such a beautiful place, wonderful service. The food was very tasty.

Just surprised that tea was not brewed,we were offered individual tea bags.

But would recommend it for tea room ladies & gents.

I went to Flowers in the Attic awhile back and loved it. I no longer live in Pittsburgh, but this was definitely on the top of my places to go whenever I was next in town. Back in January, I made reservations for tea with friends for the last Sunday in April, the one weekend I'd be in town, and confirmed the reservation last Friday, a little over two weeks before the tea. Two weeks before the tea (and only two days after I confirmed my reservation), Flowers in the Attic informed me that someone had booked an event and that my tea would have to be bumped to the morning. When I pointed out that I made reservations months in advance and that many of my guests would be in church in the morning and unable to attend, Flowers in the Attic said events still get priority. I think it was unspeakably rude and incredibly inconsiderate of them to bump my reservation. What is the point of allowing customers to make reservations if they're not going to honor the reservation? Needless to say, I will never go back there again. There are many nice tea houses in Pittsburgh, so I wouldn't waste your time with this one.

Worst customer service ever! The owner yelled at me when I tried to make a reservation and then hung up on me.

Have been here twice, once for lunch and just recently for the Tea with a group of friends. Both times we had a wonderful time. The 'Tea' was tastefully done with a large choice of tea flavors, excellent food (tea sandwiches, scones and pastries) and the wait staff could not have been more attentive and cheerful. The room was decorated for Fall and was a nice setting to enjoy being with friends. I'd recommend Flowers In The Attic to anyone who enjoys a nice 'Tea'.

Took my friend here for her birthday. They had one waiter for upstairs and downstairs, so needless to say, the service was slow, but not any fault of the server. At 1:00 in the afternoon, the restaurant ran out of chicken, and due to the long wait, we had to quickly have soup to go to an appt. The soup was very good. The person who rung us up, I'm thinking she was the cook, was not very pleasant when we mentioned that they ran out of chicken. I'll give it another try, maybe just an off day.
