I discovered Artful Tea in the summer of 2016 while on vacation in Santa Fe. I was excited at the prospect of a local tea shop, and even more excited when I stepped through the door. The ambiance is welcoming, clean, and pleasant, with the right amount of interesting displays to catch your eye without overwhelming. The tea selection is impressive and is spaced out throughout the store. The owner, who was working behind the counter, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The shop is full of considerately selected teas and accessories. The tea itself comes either bagged or in canisters. I opted for a canister, which is a nice metallic smoky gray/brown color. The owner was able to direct me to some great new blends, a few of which I am now addicted to and order through her online shop every time I run out. It's the kind of tea shop a tea lover interested in spreading the love of tea would want to work in. I only wish that it was local to me so I could stop in and shop in person!
