Every year for the past 5 years, my daughter and I travel a 3 state radius to visit tea rooms as a back-to-school tradition. Today was the best experience we have ever had, at Pamela's Victorian Tea. From the courteous reservation I made over the phone, to the warm greeting when we arrived, everything was perfect. The food is AMAZING (the salad and scone were by far my favorites), the tea selections were plentiful and the tea suggestions were spot on. My daughter deemed the grilled cheese sandwich the best she's ever had, and had a wonderful time changing out the hats that were available to wear for a true, proper tea. Pamela and her husband were the most welcoming and accommodating (I have an allergy that has been an issue with other tea rooms, but not here!). We traveled over 3 hours to enjoy this quaint, beautiful, delicious tea room with 3 generations of my family and will certainly be back!

Best tea house I have been to. It feels so inviting. My mom, my sister and I have been there several times. We love that you pick out your own tea pot and tea cup. If you want a hat, there are plenty to choose from. The food is always excellent. This is becoming our favorite place to go when we come for a visit with our mother. We really enjoy Pamela. She is quite the hostess.

Can we give Pamela and her husband 100 stars? We'd love to! My mom and I visited Pamela's Victoria Tea and Music this weekend. It was roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes from where I live and it was definitely worth the drive.

My mom and I frequently visit different tea houses as it is a shared interest of ours. Pamela had a very extensive tea menu. There were more options than we're used to seeing at tea houses.

Upon arriving, guests can tour the historic building their tea house is located in. Pamela has a room full of ladies' hats, so if you forgot to bring your tea hat but are in the mood to throw one on, don't worry she's got you covered.

We visited during St. Patrick's Day weekend, so we started off with some delicious green pistachio pudding and our scone was shamrock shaped. Pamela entertained us all and served us and her husband is the chef working in the kitchen for us.

After our tea, both Pamela and her husband entertained us with some Limericks, which were short, quirky poems they had written recently. Then Pamela, who is an amazing musician, sat down at her piano and played a few Irish tunes for us.

We've never had an experience like this. You will absolutely not reget your visit. We can't wait to return.

My mother surprised me with this fantastic jewel located in Bellwood, Pa. Pamela and her husband George you're fantastic hosts. Very welcoming, I didn't feel like I was walking into a place of business, but rather into their own home. The food was fantastic and I felt like a princess being served. You are invited to choose a hat to enhance the experience, you get to choose your own personal teacup and teapot. Then you get to choose a tea made especially for you. In the gift shop you're sure to find a treasure or two to take him with you. Loved my experience at Pamela's Victorian. I look forward to going back and enjoying a relaxing time with not only a gracious host, but also a new friend. I promise you won't be disappointed in your experience.

Celebrated 85th Birthday With Aunt Micky Peters...

      A Very Special Time.......Absolutely DELIGHTFUL !!!!!

We chose our tea pot and cup and became a part of the beautifully and artfully decorated dining room. wearing our fanciful hats....the food was excellent and portions perfectly mastered....the tea varieties were equally tempting.....

George at table side gave a beautiful recitation of a poem he had written for the occasion and Pamela not only played and sang Happy Birthday but a masterful and beautiful sole that helped us step back in time as QUEENS!!!!

Would recommend for any and all occasions....bridal parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, birthdays and most of all granddaughters !!!!

We had a wonderful experience here! It was beautifully decorated. The service was phenomenal- so quick and personal. The food was delicious. I brought my two young children and Pamela even let them choose a tea pot that she filled with milk. My children were delighted to be included in this experience and loved pouring their milk into their tea cups. I highly recommend this to everyone looking for a wonderful time. Oh, and she even played the piano for us. Such talent!

It has been almost two weeks since my college roommates and I met for our yearly mini-reunion at the Bell Mansion, and I'm still smiling about it. It was so much more than I ever expected. Our suite was very well appointed, with great attention given to every tiny detail. You thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and special. Truly I felt like a queen for a day. The food was outstanding and was served so attractively. Every meal brought new surprises, as we moved from one room to another. Thank you, Pamela, for the uplifting concert. That was a very definite WOW! I am truly looking forward to returning for another good dose of your hospitality. Thank you, Pamela and George, for all that you did to make our time perfect.

Each year my brother and I and our wives like to get together around Thanksgiving. My brother and his wife live in Michigan and my wife and I live in Massachusetts and we try to find a location that is half way to meet.

We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to spend 3 glorious nights at the Bell Mansion with Pam and George as our hosts. The 2 bedroom suite was gorgeous and the accommodations were perfect. We were invited to partake in their annual Holiday Dinner on the Friday that we arrived and the food was to die for.

That was just the start. We were served three heavenly breakfasts and Pamela 's teas were phenomenal. Pamela served all of the teas herself and we particularly loved coming home on Saturday night after a long day of sightseeing to find tea and pie waiting for us in our suite. We loved our accommodations, the tea, the food and especially the hosts. Thank you Pamela and George. There is no doubt that we will return again for more scones, peach pancakes, and some of that heavenly Devonshire Cream.

My husband, Edward Bell, great-great-great-great grandson of the original Edward Bell and I visited Bellwood this past October and were delighted to find that the Bell Mansion was both a tea room and a bed and breakfast. The rooms were exquisitely decorated, the teas and food were delicious, and Pamela and George were the icing on the cake! They were so gracious to us and made us feel like royalty. We spent the night there and were greeted the next morning with a delicious gourmet breakfast and a piano accompaniment by Pamela that can only be described as heavenly! Our only regret is that we don't live closer in order to visit more often. It was a wonderful experience!

I finally had the chance to enjoy tea there today and it was worth the wait. The historic mansion is exquisite and filled with room after roomful of decorative touches which Pamela takes the time to show to her admiring guests. The tea selection is huge and each course from appetizer to dessert was just delicious. Relaxing atmosphere and treated with such genuine kindness by this lovely couple. Pamela was especially sweet to my aging mother. thank you for a most wonderful experience!

I recently visited Pamela's Victorian Tea and Music at Bell Mansion with my mom and one of her friends. We had a lovely experience and appreciated the special touches (piano music, poem recitation) that Pamela and her husband added to make our afternoon so memorable. I have been to many teas and this was my favorite! We loved the six courses we were offered and that the menu included fresh fruits, salad, and soup along with the delicious tea sandwiches and scones. After our tea, we toured the upstairs bed and breakfast. It is decorated beautifully and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful get-a-way. We are looking forward to returning and trying out one of their special events some time soon!

WOW! What a treasure this place is !Each time we have been to one of Pamela's teas, we have been overjoyed ! And now that Pamela and George have moved into the historic Bell Mansion, things have gotten even better ! The exquisite Victorian decor and obvious attention to every detail is matched by the lively personalities of the owners. Pamela and George put on the best presentation with a spirit that shows their love for what they do.They make every tea event a day to truly remember. And the Christmas dinner and tea was unbelievable. From the ambiance to the great food and tea, to an incredible music presentation . Pamela, your iano playing is second to none and your sister Dorie ,who flew in for the occasion has the absolute most beautiful voice I have ever heard. There was not a dry eye in the sold out place ! People left there feeling so warm and uplifted, a night never to be forgotten. Pamela's Victorian tea and music is a rare treasure.

I love this place! I was feeling blue (because of one of the places I frequented had closed) when a friend told me about Pamela's Victorian Cafe and Music. I am ever so thankful that she did. What a wonderful place! The food and tea are delicious! There's a little room with a child's table and chairs for my young girls to sit and enjoy their tea and sandwiches as well. I recently attended a Mother's Day tea and what a delight it was. We had a salad and when it comes to salads, I'm a bit of a salad dressing snob. I only like Ranch dressing. This particular salad already had the dressing on it. 'Oh boy!' I thought and I figured I'd try my best to pick around it. I was so wrong. The dressing was very light, and the salad was absolutely delicious! (I ate it all) George read some Mother's Day poems for us. Pamela played the piano beautifully. (So much so, that my daughter has requested lessons.) This place is truly a treasure.

Where to begin? We have been going to Pamela's for almost a year now and I am so happy to have such a lovely place to join with friends and family and be together with a steaming pot of hot tea and delicious freshly made food. Pamela greets us like long lost friends--or better yet family. She is always impeccably dressed--like our coming to the shop is a special occasion and she is wearing her best things just for us. The decor is so beautiful and there is so much detail that you cannot see it all in one visit--a good reason to keep going back. Then the food--oh the food! Fresh, beautifully plated, served on fine china on a table dressed beautifully with lovely linens. A pot of freshly and properly brewed tea for each of us and finished with scones and clotted cream. I would go everyday if I could! Pamela and George never fail to make us welcome. I have been to other tearooms and this is far and above my favorite one!

Today was a special day--my mom, 2 aunts, cousin and sister-in-law went for lunch. One of my aunts was visiting from Seattle and this was a lovely way to spend leisurely time with her. She is originally from England and loves her tea. She thoroughly enjoyed our tea and meal. Afterwards, Pamela played and sang for us--including Greensleeves--one of my aunt's favorite songs. George pronounced my aunt Queen for a Day and read an original poem. We were there for well over 2 hours but it was so enjoyable we did not want to leave. I highly recommend visiting--and will be back real soon myself. Thank you Pamela and George!

Looking for something to do for that special girls birthday party.......call Pamela's Victorian House of Tea. My daughter and her two friends spent hours at Pamela's today celebrating her 9th birthday. They had a fashion show, sang, drank tea, and ate scones and finger sandwiches. I would highly recommend Pamela's for that special birthday celebration or just a girls day out. We are already planning our next visit....a mom and daughter tea day

Today's event was special because someone else, a stranger, went out of her way for us.

We had never been to Pamela's Victorian House of Tea and Music.. (Pamela's Victorian Cafe). Because my little daughter Eve's beloved Grandpa has been ill, he and Granny couldn't come to celebrate her birthday, which was today. To soothe the disappointment of Grampa's absence, I thought today would be perfect for a special fancy birthday tea and late luncheon. We arrived at Pamela's just after 3 pm where we learned that Pamela closes at 3. My heart began to sink. Then Pamela, whom I've never met, said, 'Come on in. We can do this for you today'. She made my little girl feel super special as we picked out tea cups and tea pots, and special hats to wear. She even played Happy Birthday on the piano.

The food and atmosphere were scrumptious and delightful but the best gift was how Eve got to learn a lesson about kindness. Pamela went out of her way when she certainly didn't have to. That sort of giving nature and genuine kindness are at times difficult to show our children because it's so easy to get caught up in our own little details.

It was an extraordinary gift from a complete stranger. I hope it's one Eve will treasure. I know I will. And I know we'll go back during regular hours too.

What random acts of kindness have you committed or experienced today?

Absolutely a great time! I enjoyed myself at my first Irish Tea Party at Pamela's Victorian Cafe & Music. Pamela is a wonderful host! Her personality lights up the room! Her passion is evident as soon as you meet her. I love to see the team work that her and her husband, George have! This is their calling. They go above and beyond to share their joys of making guests feel comfortable and invited. I look forward to attending another Tea Party with Pamela! Good Bless Pamela and George, for continued success in all their life ventures!

She loved the doll tea table set up and she chose to sit right beside it so she could play and eat. She brought her special stuffed animal with her and she served her special friend tea with a miniature tea set. I just cannot express what a special experience this was for the both of us...something special for all mothers to do with their little girls!! We loooved it! I was just in awe of the beautiful atmosphere and tranquility of her tea room. I only ordered the potato soup and it was wonderful! Pamela's Personali-tea was so delicious I couldn't stop raving! And the scones - oh the scones! So wonderful with the Devonshire Cream! Today I came back and brought a friend and I was even more impressed - the tuna melts were wonderful, the tomato bisque was wonderful, the almond cherry was great and best of all Pamela played and sang Ain't She Sweet for us! A beautiful presentation on tea and etiquette, captivating, animated storytelling, musical giftings on the piano with some fun tunes, old hymns and some classical music were just a part of our wonderful afternnon at Pamela’s Victorian Café!

We were then treated like royalty as a variety of treats excited our tastebuds…cherry torts to start, an inviting salad of mixed greens nuts and cranberries, the classic cucumber finger sandwich, chicken salad with walnuts and grapes, cranberry scones, dessert fit for a queen and of course...tea.. Pam served us a houseblend her husband (who does alot of the baking and cooking) aptly named Pamelas Personali- tea..a nice blend of cinnamon, vanilla and other spices.... naturally sweet, needing no sugar! Our ladies group had so much fun….going in and trying on hats and shawls (and the proverbial tea gloves were available!!) and we all wound up quite the colorful bunch! We all left with a satisfied tummy, a warm fuzzy feeling and full of the love that was so generously served to us throughout the afternoon. And full of ideas, reasons and people to come back with as soon as possible! Come on up for a spot of tea sometime!!

      Thanks for your abundant blessings,

Pamela's Victorian Cafe and Music is truly a treasure that all people (including men!) would love to experience. Upon entering the cafe, one feels the warm, welcoming atmosphere instantly. The pleasing ambiance cannot be caught in words, but is noticeable to anyone who visits. It is the small details, such as heart-shaped sugar cubes for Valentine's Day, that make the cafe special, and one can tell how much effort Pam and George put into the cafe. Beautifully decorated according to time of year, the small, intimate setting is perfect for a meeting between friends and family. The tea quality is excellent, with a variety of flavors to choose from, and the food is incredible- I have never had a better scone. George and Pam work well together and are very personable. Our daughter Pam is one of the hardest working people we know. The tearoom she has now is after years of hard work researching tea party etiquette, a history of tea, and years and years of practicing the piano, which she has incorprated into her tea parties, throughout her young and adult

life. She has a talent for decorating and with people, and would always set the table in beautiful china for even a simple lunch. She is deserving of her success after all of her years of hard work. We have been to her tearoom and the food is great from soups, to salads to sandwiches to desserts. George and Pam work well together and he is the perfect complement to her outgoing and fun personality. May you have years of success and joy ahead of you!

When you first walk through the doors of Pamela’s Victorian Café and Music, it feels as though you have been swept off your feet and into the Victorian Era. The exquisite array of dresses, furniture, and ceramic tea pots are sure to catch the eye’s fancy. Be sure to stop in over the holiday seasons as well because they have an abundant collection of holiday décor. For an example, at Christmastime you are sure to see many trees decorated like they would have been in the Victorian era. The lighting display is mesmerizing and is sure to set a calming mood. Talking about calming, what about trying a tea that has a hint of lavender in it? Earl Grey Blue is my favorite tea so far, and If not for the Café, I would have not even heard of it. I love the original Earl Grey and the Café has many different varieties that I would absolutely love to taste. There are so many other kinds of tea that they have, that I cannot describe them here in this review because it would take too long. The customer service is divine and the tea is scrumptious. I have an addiction to hamburgers and they offer one of the best around. In fact my meal is hamburger and Earl Grey, and it makes me happy to put my two favorite things together. The music also helps set the atmosphere, and it is amazing to hear Pamela sing and play the piano. If you want a place to socialize and have fun, Pamela’s is definitely the place to go. I give it five-star service all around. If you are curious about the café, please don’t hesitate to call them. They even have specific days that you can test and try out different teas. Please visit this quaint and cozy tea room.

Where do I start? My husband, and five of our six children visited for the first time for a birthday party for our 4 year old little girl. From the moment we entered until the time we politely parted ways, our experience was filled with delight. The ambience was second to NONE. The beautiful hats and china made us all feel like we were truly in a magnificient tea house. The food was divine. The tea etiquette we received was both informative and charming. The piano playing was not only heartwarming, but musically pleasing. Our children had a wonderful time, and before we made it home, we were asked numerous times, 'when can we go back again?!' I give Pamela's Victorian Cafe & Music Teahouse TEN out of TEN stars. Simply the best! We greatly look forward to visiting again, where we know the food will be delicious, the Lord's presence will be felt through the grace and hospitality of the owners, and our children will be made to feel special and welcome. We went here last night, Friday The Thirteenth, for a wedding reception. I loved it there! I didn't know that Queen Elizabeth fed the scones to her dogs ( the dogs sat on a velvet couch behind the Queen at tea time). We got to use golden utensils and eat off of fine china. You know how she said to break the scones apart with your fingers? When she wasn't looking me and Eleanor used our forks. During the first course, while eating strawberries, Eleanor said,' This may not be proper etiquette in her book,' and put more Devonshire cream on both of ours. I absolutely loved visiting Pamela's Victorian Café And Music. It reminded me so much of Professor Trelawny's classroom. I hope I can come here for my birthday party!

And if you are lucky enough, you may get to hear Pam’s lovely singing and piano music.

Thanks Pam and George. My time there is always so wonderful! I will definitely be back!

An amazing place where the atmosphere rivals the delicious food and fragrant tea. Pamela is the most gracious and knowledgeable tea host that you will ever come across-taking time to talk with each guest. This is an amazing little place where when you walk in the door you immediately have so much to feast your eyes on that you promptly forget about whatever might have been bothering you. You'll enjoy every moment spent here and look forward to when you can get back.

Pam' tea house is incredible! The food and atmosphere is fabulous. I just love the walnut and grape chicken salad. She has so many different teapots and you can choose whichever one you want to use to match your mood. Her deserts are wonderful and the scones and Devonshire cream are the best. I have been to one of her private tea parties and her knowledge of the history and etiquette of the Victorian tea is unparalleled.

By far. . .a relaxing, caring, enjoyable place to be. The tea selections are delicious so if you are a tea connoisseur you will be pleased. . .if you are a food connoisseur. . .you will be satisfied (homemade soup daily. . .along with great sandwiches, salad, scones with devonshire cream and homemade cake). . .and if you just love a great atmosphere with service that says 'we care'. . .then this is your kind of place. Thank you George and Pam. . .your talents are displayed every time I stop in.

This was by far the best tea cafe I have ever been to. The food was amazing. I tried to replicate it at home, but sadly was unable to do so. There was an amazing variety of teas, and you could even choose your own teacup and teapot. What a neat idea! The embiance was incredible. I felt so fancy dining there!
