It was a passion for the shared experience of tea that prompted us to open the PB. teashop on Grand Street in Williamsburg.
We recognize tea as not just a beverage, but a lifestyle and an artful practice. Our little shop is a space to relish in the global cultures of tea.
We offer an artfully curated selection of true teas and herbal tisanes and we source our collection with love from estates across the globe.
We have teahouse standards from China, Japan, India, and Taiwan in addition to selections from more exotic tea locales like our Fair Trade certified South African Red Bush, Argentinian Yerba Mate, or our pure French Lavender.
We also carry more than ten varietals of our namesake Pu’erh tea in raw, ripe, and bud form. These teas and tisanes, like the vast majority of our offerings, are certified Organic.
Each tea is cupped for quality of flavor, aroma, and appearance before it is added to our exclusive roster.

This shop sells fake wares claiming to be antique and artisan, but the shop owner has no idea about the provenance of his wares and upsells subpar quality wares as more exclusive for exorbitant values. His Yixing teapots to my estimation are more than likely from AliExpress, resold for 10x their price and passed off as "real Yixing"... His teas are also lackluster. Just avoid this overpriced charlatan if you can because you'll be truly wasting your money and your time. Buy direct from true sellers online and don't waste your time with a pretty shop that carries over the cost of maintaining to your pocketbook...
