Not what I expected. Nice but not great. My favorite thing was the mis-matched tea pots; very cute. Wonderful shopping though!

MY HUSBAND AND I HAD LUNCH IN THE TEA ROOM ON MAY29-13 AND ENJOYED THE CHICKEN SALAD AND ROAST BEEF, ALONG WITH THE CARROT GINGER SOUP.

EXCELLENT FLAVORS AND GREAT SERVICE BY A PERSONABLE YOUNG MAN. ALSO BOUGHT THE CHOCOLATE ANISE CINNAMON TEA AND THE PEACH. HAD THE WATERMELON TEA WITH LUNCH AND IT WAS SUPERB.....JEAN AND JIM

I believe they're getting their wings. We've eaten here 3 times and they have improved each time. It was a warm day so we tried the special iced tea, Cranberry Hibiscus, which was served with a slice of kiwi fruit on the rim, Nice touch. The chicken waldorf sandwich came on a fresh croissant and was the best I've ever had. My husband had the Rubenesque (served warm) he loved it. We shared a special dessert, lemon marscapone cake. Special indeed! What a great, 'Summery' flavor with some other berries in it. I want the whole cake.

They keep getting better and better.

Exceptional food and nice tea list of about 15 teas. We had Peach Ginger and Earl Grey, both delightful. I had the Chicken Breast with Long & Wild Rice, this was an amazing moist chicken served with asparagus. The desserts were out of this world, Betsy had the chocolate cheesecake and I had a warm cranberry and nut scone served with Devonshire cream and strawberry jam (the jam was homemade). Presentation of the food was lovely.

I've been to Britain many times, and I can tell you I've never had a scone there that even remotely compares to this one. It was over the top.

One word for the desserts --- OUTSTANDING!
