Chris & Pam provide an authentic English tea. They are always welcoming And hospitable. The tea sandwiches are fresh, and there is a lot of variety. I haven't tried the other offerings, but the afternoon tea is delicious and good value for money. The scones are homemade by Pam, and they are served with genuine Devon clotted cream (no extra charge). I highly recommend the Sussex Tespot!

You walk into what looks like a convenience store and the cashier greets you. We waited about 20 min to be seated even though we had a reservation. The young server was unwelcoming and provided very poor service. My friends and I enjoy diffent kinds of teas and the server insisted that we all have the same because of the lack of space on the table. After a long discussion she agreed to provide two types of tea even though we purchased four afternoon teas. The decor left much to be desired and the food was lacking to say the least.

I LOVE the Sussex Teapot! Have visited them for years, and always have a lovely time! I have hosted wedding and baby showers, and a gorgeous bridesmaids' luncheon at the Sussex Teapot. Really an Orange County gem! The ladies at the Sussex Teapot are so sweet -- not pretentious.. You'll find good food in a lovely atmosphere! Great service and delicious teas, scones, and cheese and onion pies! Yummy! The adjoining English/Irish/Scottish grocery is filled with lovely gifts and delicious imported foods. I highly recommend the Sussex Teapot.

Very much what I found in Britain, right down to the smallest detail. The store is also wonderful with a very good selection of frozen foods to take home.

This is by far the best tea room I have ever been in. I have been back many times. The high quality of food is consistant, and the food is authentically British as are the owners. The sausage rolls and scones are to die for. Well worth a visit. I guarantee you will become a regular.

My first time ever in a Tea House. This place was very warm, friendly and inviting. Deliscous soup, salad and sandwhich. The cashew chicken is worth the trip. Will be visiting again and again.

This is the first Tea House I visited and it's been great! I've been there several times and love it. Have brought several friends and they've loved it. Great for special occasions. Have been to others more pricy but I keep coming back to this one.

The Sussex Tea Pot is the best! It is not pretentious, and it provides the most authentic British tea experience in the southland. Pam's scones are superb, and they are served with real clotted cream--not the pretend stuff! The sandwiches are great, and there is quite a variety. Chris and the wait staff are terrific, and after you've been there a few times you are treated like family.

Chris was very sweet, the atmosphere was quiet enough for me to enjoy my tea and a book. Food was delicious! I believe the house tea was bags of PG Tips, but Chris stated they had other varieties. Will definitely go back to try those.

It doesn't get any better or any more British. The owners, Pam and Chris, are as charming as their tea room. Sandwiches are addictive and I've literally never had better scones. To say I am hooked is putting it mildly

This is a regular stop for me. It is a traditional English tea room with traditional English fare. Pamela and Christine are the patronesses and they are charming. The tea sandwiches are always fresh and delicious and Pamela makes homemade soups that are wonderful, as well. My friend and I meet here often and want to try one of their tradtional English breakfasts one Sunday.
