Ms. Donna was kind and welcoming. The tea and pie took a long time to arrive. The tea was nice and the mud pie did not taste very fresh. 😝. I did not go up the stairs to look at the second floor. If it is like the dining room it could use some air freshener, dusting, and more than a good decluttering. I am not sure we will be back.

My daughter and I had a great time at Time for Tea. My daughter, loved dressing up in the play area and sitting down to be the big girl sipping on tea and eating pb&j. My chicken sandwich went well with the strawberry tea, and well always leave room for dessert, as the Mississippi Mud Pie was awesome! Topped it off with a balloon for my parents anniversary and it's a nice find in my old home town of Knob Noster!

This is a great place to go with the girls. The desserts are fantastic, they have a large variety of tea products, and you can make your own fun.

Love Time For Tea. Great place to go and have girl time and just relax. Go there every week with other wives and love it. Great ham salad, awesome soups, and a great variety of tea.

Tea selection was very good. Bread and cinnamon spread was great. Took awhile to get my cup of tea.Ham salad sandwhich was good. Teahouse very clutterd and overwhelming. There were a few items that just did not appear to fit in with a standard tea room. The atmosphere was very heavy and dark. I wish there would have been better lighting and a gentler smell and less decorations. Rate a 6 out of a 10.

Great place for parents visiting nearby Warrensburg's UCM to steal away to with their student (and student's friends)for conversation, soup or sandwich, and tea!! Teas galore--all kinds of teas, especially loose teas are available. I asked about elderberry tea and an offer was made to order it for me! The food was good and the proprietess was responsive to 'picky' requests!

My boyfriend and I originally went to buy loose leaf tea but later returned for lunch. The tea I purchased is fragrant and strong and I will definitely be returning to buy more in the future. There is a charming, quiet upstairs area to browse and downstairs there is a small room for smaller girls to play dress up. The owner was friendly and the atmosphere very comfortable. She even walked my boyfriend and I through the step-by-step process of brewing tea and gave us plenty of tips.

Make sure to stop by if you are ever in Knob Noster, it is a charming place.

My friend and I had gone by this place for a very long time and had never been in until recently. The first tea we tried was called Diablo and it's a cinnamon/cherry flavored black tea. It was wonderful. Mrs. Donna (the owner) even brought the loose leaf tea, that she has in containers, over to our table to let us see what they smelled like before we decided on a tea. The atmosphere, for me, was like going to my grandmother's house. There are knick-knacks everywhere, tea pots ranging from single serve to about 12 servings, upstairs there is an assortment of china and crystal and little gifts for sale, there are candles down stairs that smell wonderful, and just all kinds of things that I have to look each time I go because there is always something I've missed or something new to see. I like that it's not formal. You don't feel like you have to act a certain way when you are there. It's very calm and relaxing with music playing in the background most of the time. The desserts are amazing. Try just about anything and it's great. I personally love the scones, especially the blueberry one! When I go there it feels like there is no rush for me to get in, have your tea, and get out. I can take my time and enjoy the tea that I've selected. She must have over 50 different loose leaf teas. I've bought a few for myself to take home. I really like the raspberry green tea. You can even get everything you need to make tea at home. I love this place and wish that I had gone there sooner!

Very disappointing. I was looking forward to a nice cup of tea and a snack. What I got was scorched tea in a dirty kettle and a chipped cup. Not only that, but the place settings not only did not match, but the silverware did not also. The chicken salad sandwich was very spicy and the bread was stale. My tea did not arrive until after I had finished my baked bread and part of my sandwich. And that is only the beginning. The proprietress was wearing sweat pants with a hole in them. For a place of business yet alone a tearoom, this is not only peculiar but also an embarrassment. The place smelled damp and moldy, and the toilet and bathroom were beyond filthy. If the proprietress spent less time chatting up the locals and spent more time serving the customers and giving this establishment a thorough cleaning, I would expect it might pass as a tolerable backwoods country tearoom. I suggest that the proprietress gives this establishment a makeover. And at the same time, to make sure she gets one as well.

We really enjoyed our visit. It was kind of accidental that we saw it as we were driving back from an air show. We both love teas, so we stopped and went in. Very friendly atmosphere, wonderful sandwich, salad, and of course dessert to go with out fabulous tea. We highly recommend it.

My daughter-in-law and 5 year old grandson took me there when I visited them last Christmas. It was a very enjoyable experience. Just a very relaxed atmosphere with good food and great desserts. The service may have been a bit slow but that's all part of the charm - I didn't expect fast food restaurant service! The owner even invited us by her home to see their outside Christmas decorations that evening where she and her husband were dressed as Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus. I loved it!

Time For Tea has become a second home for me. When I first entered this fine establishment, I did not know what to expect. I had never visited a tearoom before. I imagined a very formal, white lace, tea, and crumpet atmosphere. What I got was a warm and welcoming invitation to enrich my palate with fresh, quality homemade confections, a cozy shop to entertain my senses, and a dearly loved new friendship. Donna and Time For Tea have both enriched my life, through new experiences and opportunities. I thank God for this small country tearoom every day. However, mostly for Donna, and her welcoming acceptance. Thank you.

I started visiting Time For Tea right around when they first opened. I later had my son's fourth birthday party there.

They went above and beyond in making his tea party fun for everyone. The food was incredibly cute: from the little 'nests' with candy eggs in them to the 'sushi' made of candies. Then there were little sandwiches cut in to the shape of teapots as well as chocolate dipped strawberries.

They even went out and added some boyish things to the dress up center in the children's room.

It was by far the most enjoyable children's party I've thrown. I showed up with a cake and that was it.

We've gone to TfT many times since then and they've always been very nice to us. While we did not have another tea party, we did eat there on my son's fifth birthday and they gave him a slice of cake and sang happy birthday to him.

While not everything in the store is something I'd bring home, there is a wide variety of products for sale and I always end up finding something I want. The prices are very reasonable as well.

My favorite part of the store is by far the tea selection. TfT even went so far as to start carrying a tea that I particularly liked and had previously only been available in sample form.

I feel in love with this place the first time I walked in. The food was excellent, especially the potato soup, which reminded me of being a kid. The entire atmosphere was calming. There is a large selection of tea to choose from. The desserts always make my mouth water. I will go back again and again.

I visited in early August. It was my first experience going to a Tea Room. The owner/hostess was very friendly. The atmosphere and decor was what I expected of a Tea Room. I enjoyed my food, especially the soup and dessert. I took my grandchildren and they had a great time. I would recommend Time for Tea to anyone.

Donna's tea room has a wonderful atmosphere. You're surrounded by lovely victorian decore available for purchase. The music and lighting provides for a calming environment. The menu selections are perfect for getting a feel for the traditional english tea time. I love that it's not a restaurant....it's a tea room.

This tea house has a comfortable, homey atmosphere. Individual rooms are decorated with unique antiques and gifts. Service was friendly and efficient. The Berry Salad was excellent; the Pineapple Chicken Pie was delicious. Donna made us feel really welcome. This is a great place for lunch or a quiet afternoon cup of tea and snack. I like this tea house and recommend it to my friends. Sandy

The moment I opened the front door the smell of fresh baked goods was profound. This is a delightful shop with something for everyone including kids and gents. It is hard to find a tea room that caters to both men and women, but this quaint shop seems to do just that. Sandwiches, salads, soups, and scrumptious desserts combined with a room where kids can 'dress for tea' make this a delightful afternoon experience. A wide range of gifts available for purchase, appeal to both female and male shoppers. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Food excellent, but limited menu. Service slow, 45 minutes for sandwich and soup. Tea did not arrive until after I was done with my meal. Wide variety of tea. Lemon and milk were not offered for tea. Floors filthy, shop dusty. Definitely in need of a good cleaning and paint job. Carpet and shop smell musty. Very heavy smell not light and airy. Very dark and depressing atmosphere. Entrance and shop crowded with junk. Looked like a flea market upstairs. Bow and arrow in a tearoom??? Chessboard??? Hunting knives??? Tearoom had a great deal of cute items but also a great deal of junk. Overall atmosphere, run down country home, with grandmas over crowed shelves of memorabilia. Extremely messy, crowded and dirty. I was afraid to eat my food for wonder of the kitchen.

This is a lovely place that offers great service and excellent food, especially the SOUPS and delicious desserts! No other place like this one for a good bowl of soup with fresh bread! Desserts are amazing! My favorite hot tea is hibiscus--delicious.

      The personification of tea room

This quiet little tea room is just what you need to break up the harried pace of any day. The service is excellent, the décor and ambiance out standing, and the food is superb. Please note if you are looking for a greasy tasteless burger stale fries and a watered down fountain drink this is not your type of place, there is however a McDonalds down the street. The amount of care and attention given to this clever little gem shows in every aspect your experience. I would highly recommend this establishment (and have) to anyone. Of course anyone who would disparage this excellently done little tea room has no good sense or taste

Thanks Time 4 Tea for the wonderful memories and friendships we have acquired from you!
