I brought my sister, niece & great niece who were visiting from Illinois/Wisconsin...we enjoyed the food, the setting was very nice and cozy....would have loved a pot of tea left on the table so we wouldn't have had to keep asking for refills. The proprietor suggested using milk in our tea - and it was very tasty indeed! We had the Yorkshire Gold tea, which was delicious. We would recommend this tea house for a nice, British experience.

I visited on a Sunday morning and had a great experience. My omelet was excellent and the scones are light and tender. The loose tea selection is wide enough to satisfy almost everyone. My waitress was cheerful and attentive. Altogether a great experience. I'll definitly be returning!

The setting was really nice. The service was slow and they did not leave the pot of tea at the table so we had to keep waiting for them to fill it up. The food it self was good. The glass of champagne at the end was a nice touch. Probably won't go again.

This place is hidden in with a bed and breakfast, but worth a trip. Not expensive and their menu serves as a guide. They'll make anything an give you anything from the continental breakfast too, for the price of one meal. Haven't tried afternoon tea, but looking forward to it. The owner is extremely accommodating and adds to the experience.

Hello Helen ~ We loved the tea room and how special you made my niece Kari Craig's College Graduation Tea. Carol Craig my sister booked the presidential suite and tea in May 2008. We loved the tea room and our delicius made to order breakfast. This gave me such inspiration I now have The GGS Hat & Gloves Tea Room in Mophnton, PA which I opened in May 2008 and I am on tea map.com as well. Hope you and hubby are well.

My Mother and I visited here in July 2008. We had their high tea. I found the whole experience just ok. The tea room itself has a mountain feel, it was cozy but not frilly or elegant. The owners who served us, he is from England I believe, were very nice and hospitable. We were not offered a choice of tea. We were served two different kinds, Yorkshire and Buckingham. I found them ok. The food itself was ok. First out were their scones which were very good. Then we had a choice of soup or salad. We chose the potato leek, we didn't care for it at all. Next were the tea sandwiches and goodies. They were just ok. Chicken salad on over done croissants, egg salad, and some kind of little shrimp in pastry shells. The sweets were just small cream puffs and some fruit. On their menu, it states an elegant dessert, I didn't see anything which looked like an elegant dessert. We were served champagne and apple cider. I don't think the the champagne and cider are worth the extra money.

I wouldn't come here again and feel bad because the owners were very nice.
