Paddington's Tea Room
BE ADVISED: The pictures on their website are NOT of the actual place, but meant to invoke the ambiance of an upscale high tea, I suppose. We were disappointed at the reality (felt mislead) but found it quaint and cute nevertheless. It's more of a small, decorated tea shoppe with tables (expect Paddington the Bear rather than a Lord Paddington's experience). Food and tea were good, although service was not as attentive as we would have expected (I had to flag her down 3-4 times, but attributed it to only one waitstaff attending to 3 tables). But all in all, a pleasant way for 2 friends to spend a long, cozy afternoon chatting.
