Shaharazades Tea Room
Our high tea adventure turned sour. We had reservations...the table was marked, we placed our orders: grilled sandwiches for 5 adults, (mine was to be eggplant, mozzerella, tomatoe), fruit & cheese plate for two children to share with some crackers...then I ordered 1 full high tea service as it came with 6 desserts, assorted mini sandwhiches, and scones (enough for all)....90 minutes later.....we had nothing...the kids were getting antsy...my four year old granddaughter kept saying 'where are those crackers'....people coming in after us were served, we tried to flag the waitress and she ignored us...My daughter errupted and said...let's go....it was terrible. Then suddenly the owner appeared...and what was the problem...we told her...then she told us to find lunch someplace else! So we left...then she followed us outside and said what about the food that was sitting in the kitchen...and I said...it should have been on the table...we waited 90 minutes, had reservatins, other people came in after us and were served...then she said we should have compassion...we said we should have had food.....so we left and went to a burger place and had food for all in under 20 minutes... so that was our very memorable ... Sunday Memorial day....
