British Bell
My party of three was unanimous in delighting in every aspect of our visit to the British Bell Tea Room. The service was attentive and cheerfully given. The decor alone is a reason to visit British Bell. Though its location in a humble strip mall is unpromising, once inside you would believe you were in an old-world establishment. Every time we travel, we look for a tea room to visit and so we know what to expect. We have never seen so much tea. The pots are huge and each one sits on its own warmer. It never gets cold. Those scones? They were maybe a little hard. But everyone found them wonderfully filling. The Italian Wedding soup was outstanding.

Clipper Merchant Tea House
Visiting the Clipper Merchant Tea House for the decor and ambiance alone makes this spot worthy to be a destination, even if you have to go out of your way. Charm on top of charm. And then the food is extreme!! Do you know the level of detail to which the owner, Heather, goes to make her food the best? She has ducks in order to use the fresh duck eggs in her quiches, Scones and lemon and lime curds, so they will be richer. This is not just a tea experience; this is artistry!
