Camellia's Sin Tea Parlor and Gift Shop
My friend and I visited this lovely tearoom while we were in Carlisle recently. Although this tearoom also offers a lighter fare of soup,salad and scone we opted to havve the full Afternoon Tea that included also sandwiches and desserts. My friend had the 'House' tea and I the Darjeeling. Both were good quality. Took a package of House tea to brew at home. Started off with Apple Butternut Squah soup which was delicious. Next came a beautiful salad topped with seasonal fruit served with two varieties of scones -- fresh apple, cranberry and cnnamon served with lemon curd and a sundried tomato parmasean scone with an herbed butter. The lemon curd was so yummy that we asked if we could take some home! The whole tea experience was so pleasant and enjoyable including the sweet gift shop Highly recommend this one and we will definitely be back for the holiday 'Dickens Tea'
