Lady Bedford's Tea Parlour
Breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out, and breakfast at Lady Bedford's delights my heart consistently. It's not just a meal, it's an 'artist's date' because it's a chance to bask in a warm, one-of-a-kind atmosphere. The owner's attention to detail is meticulous, which communicates the message that guests are valued and pampered. There's a huge selection of teas, and I love having my own cozy-covered pot, containing probably five cups of steaming tea. Although I've been tempted by many items on the breakfast menu, I invariably return to the 'Bedford Breakfast'--quiche, fruit and a scone with butter, jam and (if requested) Devonshire cream. The often-available Kentucky Bourbon Bacon quiche--indescribably delicious! I always leave feeling amply nourished in body and spirit, having received much more than the surprisingly affordable price of breakfast! Other reviews talk about lunch and afternoon tea, but for me, breakfast at Lady Bedford's is the ultimate treat!
