Bell Mansion Tea House
From the moment that one of the hosts opens the door, you know that you are truly in for a delightful treat. It was not at all what I expected. The Bell Mansion has been very quaintly and beautifully restored in the Victorian style, and offers a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The luncheon menu includes both sweets and savory tea sandwiches as well as a selection of salads. The tea selection includes many variety of teas incluing black, white, green, red and herbals. All teas are available by the cup or by the pot. The Earl Gray is an especially nice blend with true citrus notes perfectly balanced with the bergamot - neither overpowering the other, and neither leaving a bitter aftertaste. Tea sandwiches were neatly presented, and the chicken salad with almonds was especially pleasing. I am looking forward to the candle light dinner and murdery mystery nights!
