Whimsical Teas Tea Room
My best friend, 4 year old daughter and I just had a lovely tea at this charming little tea room. It was my first trip to a restaurant like this, and none of us were disappointed. The shop itself is quaint in the best sense of the term, with a lovely whimsy shown in the wall decorations and general decor. It was the little touches that were the most fun, like the jewels on the dainty little tea spoons. My little girl was thrilled to pick out her own hat and boa to wear while at our tea party, and was even more delighted with her lovely little teacup and tea service. The Mother Goose teapot for her chocolate milk was absolutely darling. Equally darling is the owner, Miss Carol. She was wonderfully attentive, even though the shop was busy when we came in. She actually spent a good bit of time chatting with us before we left. The scones were wonderful, and have completely spoiled me for storebought from now on. We will definitely be going back soon, though I hope to remember to call first just to see if any large parties are on the schedule for that day. It made my daughter's day, and mine, too!
