The Casual Cup
What a wonderful tea experience! My friend and I enjoyed the Casual Comfort Tea. Our server was so patient and helpful in our tea selection. The list covers all tastes. We tried something different, then switched to our usual tea with the second pot (steeped perfectly!). My only suggestion regarding the tea menu is to include a short description of each tea to aid selection. A freshly baked scone arrived with clotted cream & lemon curd (delicious). Our next course was half of any sandwich on the menu. My friend and I both chose the chicken salad. It was absolutely perfect! It was served with a small portion of pasta salad, which was light and tasty. The third course was a cup of soup. We chose chicken and rice, but cream of tomato was also available. Again, very very good! Last course was our choice of desserts from the menu. We opted for the hot fudge sundae in a teacup. Very cute, and just the right size. This Casual Comfort Tea is a little different from an Afternoon Tea, but it works because you can make your course selection from the menu. The atmosphere in the tearoom was delightful, and the quality of food is top notch. I can't wait to visit again.
