Serenity Tearoom & Fine Dining
My friend treated me to a birthday tea at Serenity, and we had a wonderful time. The tearoom is comfortable and pretty rather than ostentatious. The loose tea leaf menu was extensive, and our server kindly let us sample one of the Southern iced teas. The servers were attentive without being obtrusive, and Blanch, the owner, even stopped by to see how we were doing which was a nice touch. I loved the variety of teacups and saucers on the tables and even experienced a little teacup envy when I spotted a beautiful blue cup on another table. The food, while not exceptional, was good. All in all, I would definitely visit again.
