Stillwater Mansion
Old Fort Hall DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) held their annual Lilac Tea at the Stillwater Mansion on 20 May 2006. The pre-arrangements were handled very well; with the hostess communicating at every step. The historic home (on the Historic Registar) was decorated in an imaginative, fun manner. The hostess was well-prepared for the group. She explained the tea service every step of the way. The food was excellant, the timing of the service gave the 18 attendees to talk, laugh, and enjoy each other's company without worrying about 'just' eating. Our 'Tea Adventure' gave us an afternoon of enjoyment, good food, and shared company of friends in the manner of an earlier era.
