Upon entering a lively little town in it's own right is Jamesburg, New Jersey where a turn if the century house rests. Thus us a place where you can sit a spell and relax. Nestled in this house is a wonderful tea room by the name if 'One Steep at a Thyme', which truly lives up to the name. Here in about a 2 hour session filled with a 7 course menu of miniature scones, sandwhichs, soups & deserts you can relax and unwind. There are over 50 or so of the most delicious teas along in various categories. My mother and I were so impressed to learn of such a place. It's almost as if a piece of time was brought to you, when times were simpler and people did not rush. The myriad of food was so delectible as well as eye appealing. It is definitely filling and work the $29.99 per person. We were greeted by a valet who is the husband if the owner and pleasant as they come. The staff were so gracious that I thought I was going to get a cavity because they were do accommodating and sweet. The staff was so wonderfully spirited. I remember one of the a women servers say that, it's not work if your not stressed. As my mother and I glanced at the room around us, we drunk in the ambience. The fresh hydrangea flowers, the court yard, the many colors that were calming and inviting. This place though simple in idea took a lot of hard work and though they have only been here for year, I'm pretty sure they're here to stay! Whether a party , gathering, meet up, romantic little pause in life, this is the place..... And you'll be saying teas' on! (Puctures to follow soon )
