The English Rose Tea Room and Gifts
You would think a quiet place for an intimate tea may be hard to find here in the Valley, especially one with superb service, friendly staff and incredible food! Incorrect! The English Rose in Pleasanton is still my favorite pick of any place I've been. I'm not joking when I say this includes the great tea cafés in Australia or in Boston, MA! Yes, I've been there and while they're nice, something's missing! That something is 'the atmosphere' you find at the English Rose. There is a peace and tranquility present there that is indescribable. The tea treats are always changing and surprising and wonderful every time I've been. The food is never boring and you feel pampered by their staff. There's no interruptions, yet your server is always gracious and there when you need. Top marks to you all at The English Rose! I'll be back at any opportunity - hope that's very soon!
