Belladonna Gift Boutique and Tea Room
I had been to BellaDonna for the 1st time in 11/2006. On that day I only visited the gift boutique. I got to meet Donna who is a wonderful person that is very charming and extremely personable. Due to the holidays I wasn't able to make it to a tea sitting. Yesterday, 3/1/07 I had a wonderful experience as my good friend and I made it to a tea sitting. The atmoshpere is very whimisical. You feel that you are in a differnt place and not so close to home. They carry loose tea and it taste very good. I had the creme brulee and it was delicious. We also had the full tea which included lunch. The chicken walnut is excellent. What caught by surprise was that we were given tomatoe soup with feta cheese & sun-dried tomatoes and it was absolutely divine. It was delicious. Everything was great. My friend and I both had to have our desserts boxed to take home because the portions were enough to satisfy us. Oh, but I almost forgot, I had a butterscotch/coconut scone and it was delightfully good. Lastly, the service was just as great as the first time and considering that I had personally been having a rough few weeks, going to Belladonna's really helped my spirit and made me feel much better. I would highly recommend Belladonna to anyone.
