Silver Spoon Tea House
My friend took me to lunch today for my birthday. She is gluten free so we called first, but they had a wonderful lunch ready that was delightful and just as big a treat for both of us. The strawberry cream scones were light and warm. Then soup, crepes, bite size sandwiches, and then dessert! We couldn't eat it all! There is a great selection of teas and you get three pots throughout your meal. It was more than enough for our meal. We started with the classic Earl Grey, tried a Roibois with our sandwiches and finished with a spice Christmas tea. The pot felt bottomless and we enjoyed all of the choices and flavors offered. The owner knows a lot about china and porcelain was wonderful sharing her knowledge with us about her collection. It all comes together in this old Victorian home making for such a relaxing day. We closed the place down....something to be said for a pair of teetotalers!
