Anaba Tea Room
A sophisticated tea-drinking friend of mine told me I had to go to Anaba but as it is over 70 miles from my home I put it on my 'To Do' list for the summer. When my sister came to visit Milwaukee last weekend from Miami, I decided that we should try it. We arrived near closing (3 pmm for Saturday tea) but we were seated and offered menus. What a delightful surprise for us all! The food was fabulous. The atmosphere inspired and my husband (who is from Yunnan China, the land of Pu'er cha) lauded the quality of the Yunnan teas. In all, we had such a delightful time. Afterwards, my sister and I went to the rooftop garden and she was impressed with all that was growing in Wisconsin. I highly reccommend Anaba to any tea afficianado coming to and residing in the Milwaukee area.
