The St. Louis Tea Room
The tea selection is always excellent, and the decor is lovely. The owner can be grumpy, though, so look out. I brought a large group there last year & the owner shouted at one of my guests so rudely that he swore he would never return. Then she turned and yelled at me when I told her that one of our other guests couldn't make it (we had about 15 people there) & with a raised voice told me that 'she had reserved the entire room for us,' which was clearly not true since there were several full tables in there before we even arrived. It's too bad, in a way, because I liked the place, but I'll never go back again. Their service is uneven; sometimes really friendly and sweet, and other times just plain cranky.
