Olde World Tea Company
I am a bit of a tea snob and Olde World Tea Company is better than any English tea room this side of the pond. The owner has a wide variety of loose teas. She and her staff most accomodating to help one select the perfect tea. My wife and I enjoy the delicious soups and sandwiches (although my wife is now sold on her tarts). Each sandwich is served with a homemade soup (like roasted corn chowder, chicken and dumpling, or a legit gazpacho) or side/salad (I recomend sweet potatoe fries). The lunches are hearty, filling, and satisfying. Her tasty deserts are all homemade and are bite-sized. Her sipping chocolate and molten chocolate cake are award winning. Finally, you are treated like family. She greats you by name the second time you visit and attends to your table group as if you are the most important customer she has ever served. One more thing to note: she has outdoor seating (and is pet friendly) too.
