The St. Louis Tea Room
I visited with my daughter-in-law today. It was her first time to a tearoom for lunch. We were both terribly underwhelmed. The flavored iced tea was good enough, as was the food. But I was very disappointed in the dingy decor, dirty rug, the unkempt area of the ladies' room, and careless service. I said to my guest that I wished it was cleaner and friendlier. She said it needed a whole lot of '-ers'...neater, better... I won't be back.
