Tea and Sympathy is a wonder little place with a nice, peaceful atmosphere. It has the appearance of a typical british style tea room, which is a nice change of pace from the drab hustle and bustle of modern day America. Tanalee is a sweet and exuberant woman who serves some of the best herbal teas I've ever had, and I've had a lot of tea from many different places. The tea is simply divine and not only that, the food is amazing too! I would recommend the asian wrap or tomato basil soup to anyone looking to try something new while there. Her food is healthy for the most part too, save for the deserts of course. I've already introduced many of my friends to this place, and not one person didn't enjoy themselves. If you're ever in the area near downtown Bastrop, stop by, I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
