Roselawn Manor Tea Room
My lovely best friend graciously treated me to a birthday tea with Debra and I enjoyed myself immensely, she was a gracious host in a turn of the century beautiful home, clean and impeccable professional service was at your beckon call, just fantastic for me, I noticed the comment on the 'tea bags' all I have to say about that is that I have had loose leaf and tea bags in many many tearooms over the years and in my experienced opinion that is not what makes the tea house, that was just a very small part, that as long as it is HOT and delicious tea, sure the loose leaf and strainers are 'nice and english traditional' however, it is the hostess and service and the food served and 'how' it was served that was absolutely the rating and it was delicious and the food was done in over ample amounts in comparison to other tearooms I have visited and I would consider myself an avid tea room visitor and a victorian era enthusiast, The 'teabag' comment meant nothing to me and wasn't even a concern and I have had the English tea in London, etc, the Roselawn Manor tea was served HOT and I just can't say enough about Debra and how gracious she was and the delicious homecooked food, I have been around when it comes to victorian doings and tea happenings and she was superb, I recommend this tearoom highly and also thought it was done in very good taste and enjoyed every moment with the hostess.WE are definitely going again as soon as I can get a free moment. They are a fine family that runs the tea room, not only do they do that business, but are purebred AKC breeders and I just purchased a lovely purebreed AKC gorgeous baby maltese that I am overjoyed with, they are honest and lovely people, don't miss out on this tea room and just having the opportunity to meet these lovely people and experience a truly 'filling' cup of tea with a full victorian 20 course meal....just kidding, but seemed like it, 5 stars from me. most sincerely, Rita
