August Tea Room
As the texters would text OMG! Our expierence at the August Tea Room was out of this world. It started the minute we walked in the door. The shop was beautiful and we were greeted like old friends. The table was set as if we were royality and we were treated the same way from start to finish. We are pretty good eaters and sometimes we came away from the tea houses a little unfulfilled...NOT WITH AUGUST TEA ROOM!!!!! By the time we got to the fifth course, the only thing we could eat was the wonderful dessert made from greek yogurt and unflavored geletine with berries on top!! I honestly thought we all were going to lick the cup clean and I would have but it was an odd shape, so I used my finger instead. We had to take the rest of the desserts home. Now I have to tell you, this is not our first tea house that we have been too. We have visited the Palace in San Francisco, Sutter Creek, Newcastle, Benicia and Sacramento, you have tea we will travel. This was by far the best tea expierence to date. I do not think it will be surpassed any time soon. All I can say, is if this sounds to good to be true, try it for yourself and be prepared to be WOWED. Letty, may your passion to please never die.
