Mrs. B's Special Teas
What an enjoyable afternoon tea! My two friends and I enjoy an afternoon tea outing at least once per month. We chose Mrs. B's this month and were delighted, after driving from the coast, to find a wonderfully appointed tearoom complete with Victorian decor, a tempting tea selection and comforting, tasty tidbits. We were left not wanting for a thing. Karen, a delightful young lady with a killer left-handed pour, didn't spill one drop of our precious tea and made certain we were well cared for. She is absolutely charming! Appearances were made by Mrs. B herself (always nice to see the proprietor) as well as the talented man-chef direct from the kitchen. Mrs.B makes THE BEST...by far, Lavander cream scones and the sweetest, creamiest devonshire cream we've ever had the pleasure of partaking in. We were able to linger to our liking without the threat of being 86'd due to the tearoom closing for the day. Mrs. B's tearoom by day turns into The Crystal Quail Fine Dining Room by night. The whole experience was an utter delight. The three of us agree, we would not hesitate to genuinely recommend this wonderful Tearoom.
