High Tea Cottage
My husband and I have been to this establishment twice in the past month. Both times it was excellent. Over 60 teas to choose from and a very large menu, the largest we have seen at a tea house. I had the Traditional and my husband had the Australian Tea Classics. Beautiful presentation with fresh flowers on the plate for the sandwiches and my husband's salad that came with the meat pie was a work of art and he loved the pie. We both had scones straight out of the oven and they have a jam cart where you are offered many selections and served table side. The desserts were outstanding and we were offer 4 different teas to taste at no extra charge. I really enjoyed the Provence a red tea and Jeff enjoyed the Royal Bengal Tiger best. Extremely reasonable for the price, both our meals were 3 courses with the teas. large amount of food we even took to go boxes home. The owners are lovely people, very knowable about tea and the world. Highly recommend this tea house over all others in Los Angeles. Make reservations, we couldn't get in the first time we went.
