The finest restaurant in Encinitas has only recently begun serving Saturday tea. It's an original, modern, low-key interpretation of traditional afternoon tea. Finger sandwiches are cleverly open-faced and wonderfully seasoned. Large, fresh sultana scones are as good as I've had anywhere. The atmosphere is spacious, comfortable and quiet. The service is knowledgeable, friendly, professional and unobtrusive. A hidden gem in suburban Encinitas.
