The Potted Geranium
The first time I visited this tea room I knew it would not be the last. I spoke with Laura, the owner, and made reservations for my Red Hat Chapter to celebrate our 8th anniversary here. Fifteen of us did so, this past Saturday. This tea room is the epitome of southern grace and elegance. I have traveled all over the south visiting tea rooms since my mother, grandmother and aunts started teaching me all about 'tea parties', as a very young child. Now, many years later I must say this is the absolute BEST tea room I've ever been to. The tea selection, the food,the presentation, the decor, the gardens, the gift shop, the STAFF, the ambiance, etc., etc. is nothing more than perfection. It is definitely worth the drive to Greensboro, from wherever you are. Laura, THANK YOU & your staff for a remarkable experience!!!
