Lovely, lovely place for a special celebration lunch & tea. I had the tomato tart for lunch, which was great - but the house salad was AMAZING (baby greens, deep-red tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles & pecans with a raspberry vinaigrette). I'd eat it every day, and Im going to try to recreate the mint lemonade at home. The hubby had the grilled pimento cheese and it made him hum with happiness, and a lovely field pea salad beside. But the cream tea! My my! Scones with clotted cream, lemon curd and an apple-tea jelly. Great with the house tea blend (an unusual black tea with citrus tones). I'm so impressed by the fresh, bright tastes and beautiful food coming out of this tiny place; they should be proud.

What a great way r to end the tour of this fascinating former rice plantation. The food was excellent, artfully prepared and delicious. The owner was delightful as was the tour guide. The tables were beautifully appointed with fine china and wonderful linens. Thank you so much for a trip back to a more restful time in history.
