Once again I had a delightful tea at whimsical but British tearoom of 7 Oaks. The food is always delicious and artfully presented. The tea selected for the tea meal is always perfect! The tearoom was decorated for the Spring season and was delightful!

I was the tour escort for The Royal-tea Club's trip to Asheville, North Carolina. Our coach stopped at Mrs. Hardesty's Tea Room for Afternoon Tea! What a great find!! The food was delicious and plentiful. The tearoom is lovely and all of the servers were very kind. Margaret (owner) was delightful. She took us on an impromptu walking tour of Harrisonburg's downtown! It was thoroughly enjoyed by our group of 36! Highly recommend this tearoom - great Southern hospitality! Roxanne B.

I was the tour escort for The Royal-tea Club's trip south. On our return trip we stopped at Tea, Lace & Roses. Our ladies and gentlemen thoroughly enjoyed our tea at this lovely tearoom. We also enjoyed the gift shop!! We highly recoomend this tea room and hope to return again on a day trip to the area!! The 'tea maids' were delightful and welcoming. The food and tea selections were great. Roxanne B.

    Tearoom response:

    Roxanne,

We had long awaited the visit of the Royal-tea Club, and we couldn't have enjoyed your visit more. You all were just wonderful guests, and we enjoyed serving you, visiting with you, and sending you home with some special treats your yourselves and others. The 'tea maids' anxiously await your 'day trip' visit.

  • Hopsewee Plantation

If you live or visit the Myrtle Beach or Georgetown, South Carolina area, Hopsewee Plantation and Tea Room is a place you should not miss! I was fortunate to tour the beautiful plantation home and attend tea there in April. Loved it! The owner, Raejean Beattie was a gracious hostess, serving tea in a beautifully restored barn. She even entertained us by playing the dulcimer. There were six ladies in our group and we really enjoyed the creative menu selections. Best of luck to Hopsewee for continued tea time success!!

  • Tea On The Tiber

I had tea with a group of 10 Red Hat ladies last Saturday as a celebration of a recent wedding! We were served in a sunny and bright room. Everything was excellent from Donna who greeted us to our tea maid who delivered excellent service! The tea fare was delicious and was nicely displayed on the 3 tiered servers. The tea was served promptly and we chose our own tea from a nice assortment! All was quite lovely. I am disturbed by a prior review which paints a poor picture of this lovely tearoom in fantastic Ellicott City! This lady surely was having her own bad day or her expectations are ridiculous. Tea on the Tiber is consistently a delight, in my book!

I have been to this tearoom on many occasions. However, it had been several months between my most recent tea experience and the last one. I sure am glad my friend Diane invited me to tea at Tea By Two. We had a lovely time. Erin and the tea room staff were so accomodating to our requests. Everything from the tea, soup, scones sandwiches and sweets, were beautifully presented and were delicious. Kudos to Tea by Two for the great tea experience!
