Variety: My friend Regina and I love to do high tea! We are always searching out new places, and re-trying old ones. What a pleasure to immerse oneself in fragrant tea, civilized napkins, pleasant service, delicate and dainty foodstuffs - and perhaps a hat to suit the occasion! So last weekend, we finally made it to a place we had wanted to enjoy twice before, but plans had to be changed. This time, all was very, very well, and we arrived at The Tea Cozy Cottage, 7664 Wooster Pike, at 11 a m, for a bewitchingly delightful high tea. The proprietor, Michelle Boyles and her husband Christian do it all themselves, with creativity, a light touch, a sense of fun. Christian is in charge of food - he is to be commended for the wonderful nutloaf. The space, tucked in behind the old ... (more) |

Variety: I was just here in December and quite honestly, I had an enjoyable time. The hostess was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and the fact that we left the cottage feeling as if we've known Michelle for ages is only testimony that she knows what she is doing! I rarely find occasion these days to give excellent ratings on my dining experience, but I feel compelled to offer my compliments to The Cottage. Don't expect anything overly done or pretentious; The decor is light and airy in the way of English country cottage home couture. On the other hand, a lady or a gentleman would feel quite a home dressed in their fancy duds whatever the mode or fashion. The atmosphere was entirely fitting for a perfect ladies' tea, complete with hats. It was whimsical and fun, yet not too cluttered ... (more) |

Variety: I've been to the Tea Cozy Cottage and I have to say that it's simply amazing! As a guy, I was worried that it's mostly for women or maybe even snooty but Tea Cozy Cottage is anything but that. Michelle is extremely warm and nice and the food and tea is excellent! I love the fact that you can have unlimited tea, especially for someone who doesn't know what they're looking for in a tea! It's the best tea house in all of Cincinnati! |

Variety: There were three menu pages of teas available. A huge selection! The food was very good and the service was excellent. We will return! The scones and cupcakes were my favorite part of the foods served. The cottage was cozy. |

Variety: My girlfriend and I have been to Tea Cozy Cottage several times and loved it! The home made soups have been fantastic, roasted red pepper w/ tomato, butternut squash w/ pear. Imaginative and good! I disagree with the June review. One needn't tell Michelle anything about tea. The name tells you what to expect, Tea Cozy Cottage. It's not a stuffy vic place. Michell was very charming. She had scores of teas to choose from, I really liked the smokey flavor of the 1812 Gunpowder! We are drinking the Valentines blend at home right now. |

Variety: I very much enjoyed my first visit to the Tea Cozy Cottage. I found the tea cottage to be a warm, cozy whimzical place. Michelle the owner was a very open and down to earth person which made the experience that much more enjoyable. The variey of food was delightful! I am looking forward to a good cup of tea this evening (which I purchased) while reading. I have already signed up for my next tea experience. |

Variety: This is a charming little place, with a sweet hostess, but someone needs to explain to her the difference between 'high tea' and 'afternoon tea' if she wants real credibility. The food was okay, nothing special, and the tea was fine, but again, nothing great. I've had better tea at Churchill's (and that's not saying much) and Bonbonerie, but the soup was definitely better here, as was the warm, friendly atmosphere. |

Variety: I love Michelle's Tea Cozy. I've already been twice this year and have another visit booked for June. Michelle is so friendly and is so enthusiastic about tea that I can't help feeling welcomed. She knows my favorite tea and makes sure to have it in stock so I can buy it when I visit. She also went out of her way to help me plan a tea party for my bridesmaids last summer. She gave me advise on where to purchase a tea set for someone on a budget and then helped me select teas to give as gifts to my friends. She also went out of her way to bake me a tray of her very WONDERFUL raspberry scones. I just feel like going to the Tea Cozy means getting the royal treatment. :-) |
