Now *this* is a tea house.
Catering to the artsy, collegiate west side of town, TeaLuxe has loose tea, bags of tea, pots of tea - a large variety, served beautifully. A bar, tables, booths and even sidewalk seating. There was a modest selection of pastries and WiFi is free!

Always friendly. I once got a tea here that I didn't particularly like, and they let me choose another tea in exchange. All loose teas, some food. Lots of cute mugs and teapots for sale too.

Delicious tea, friendly staff of mostly college students in the RISD and Brown University area. Small food menu, but the focus is the tea. Tea prepared to go, or in individual or 'party' pots to stay. The staff brings a timer and/or lets you know how long to let it steep. Dozens of teas to choose from. Worth the stop.
