Located in downtown Bend, next to Great Harvest Bakery on Bond Street, the teahouse offers an excellent loft-like ambience with warm lighting and a unique blend of sofas and other furnishings. We also offer outdoor seating, free wireless Internet, local art displayed all over the teahouse and an exceptional selection of music. Only 30 minutes from Mt. Bachelor, the teahouse provides a respite after a day in the snow.

Food:  Not sure what the deal is with this place. They can't seem to keep the good employees. I went in this week and the last good employee was gone. Not sure who owns this place but they are failing to keep any quality behind the counter. I'm getting my tea online. |

Quite the contrary, my friend! Come in and introduce yourself to any of our lovely staff and they will make you a great cup of tea exceeding your standards. Feedback is encouraged as we won't settle for less than a pleasant and unique experience for each guest of the teahouse. We pride ourselves in being a healthy and peaceful addition to this wonderful Bend community. We are sorry if some of your friends that may have worked at the teahouse have moved on, but you've got 7 new friends waiting to meet you and make your tea!

Food: Wow! Awesome experience, I visited Townshend's in Bend last night and had a great time. The two guys working behind the counter were friendly and knowledgeable, and whipped up an excellent chai tea promptly. Also, awesome choice of Irish tunes :^) Keep up the great work! |

Food: Just went in to the teahouse this morning for a business meeting. I have to admit I was not a tea drinker until today. The girl who was working was very knowledgeable and I had the most amazing tea latte. I will be coming back. |

Food: This place has gluten free and vegan pastries! The staff is awesome! A bit of turnover lately but the new guys seem to be learning fast. You will not be disappointed with this place. Don't come in a rush, tea takes time! I go to this place a few times a week and have never had a problem with the anyone working there. #13 is my favorite! |

Food: So I don't visit in the evenings, but in the morning is the best time to go to this place. It's quiet and costumer service rocks. I go there a lot and so I'm known there, and ever time I go it's a blast. I got there as soon as they opened one morning and just talked and had fun with one of the employees. (I forget her name sorry, but she rocks!) AWESOME PLACE!!! |

Food: Is it just me or has this place been over run by teenagers. Both drinking and serving tea. Alex is the only great employee left. Other than him the service is terrible. Tea is supposed to be relaxing this place is a nightmare. If I were you I would visit the local coffee shops that offer tea. Jacksons Corner, Lone Pine, Thump, Backpoarch, really anywhere but Townshends. |

Food: I agree Sarah Huburd (?) makes the best Chai in town and she knows all about the customers. But I don't see her anymore. So much for ordering a chai from townshends anymore. I used to think the service was great but it is lacking now. Great tea selection. Great hours. Great Art. But if you are there for the service you are in the wrong place. |

Food: This place is a gem. The service is amazing! Rizzo is my favorite but all the staff is friendly and informed. If you are new to tea this is a great place to start and if you aren't Townshend's is sure to have something special for you. |

Food: Fantastic Tea house. I recently went in and was surprised by the knowledge of the employee's. I am now a regular. If you want the best chai in town ask for Sarah she is always friendly and willing to help you choose through the extensive tealist. You will recognize her if you look for the tallest girl in the room. I LOVE TOWNSHENDS! |
