Food: I recently moved to Bend from Portland and was shocked when I walked in this place. This is a direct copy of a tea place in Portland called Tea Chai Te. 95% of the teas are the same! Decor and furniture is the same! Tea menu is the same! Where is the originality!?!? |

Food: The simple little teahouse on Bond Street in Bend is the addition many have waited for. Townshend's carries over 100 teas, all of the highest caliber. The menu includes an extensive collection of blacks, greens, oolongs, rooibos, herbal tisanes, and even mate. The owner is extremely selective in which teas he chooses to buy, and never settles for anything a connoisseur may deem subpar. Townshend's is rather modern in atmosphere, but clearly works to uphold tea tradition and practice to present each customer with a splendid cup of tea. |
